Chapter 113 Alexander proposes to Julia
Joseph’s jaw dropped while his eyes dilated.
“Boss,this is-”
Jared interjected, “You can go and buy it.”
When he heard it again, no words could get out of Joseph’s mouth.
Without saying anything. Joseph marched out of the office with his bitter expression painted on his face. He thought,‘How can I apologize to my girlfriend?”
As Joseph started to have a headache about how to solve it, he suddenly heard Jared’s voice behind his back.
“After you buy it,you need to arrange it,and you can get off work, “Jared clarified.
Upon hearing that, Joseph’s eyes brightened, and his heart was filled with joy.
“Thank you so much, boss!“Joseph thanked him while smiling ear to ear.“I hope you can achieve your wishes today too.”
Jared waved his hand while Joseph went out the door and left sensibly.
At the same time, his cell phone vibrated, and he got a reply from Julia.
‘Male.‘
At first, Julia thought to reply she was visiting a woman, but she recalled Jared had asked her the same before, but was caught that she was lying.
With that, Julia told the truth. However, Jared, reading the message wasn’t joyous. But it was better than hiding the truth.
‘Just an ordinary friend of yours?‘
Seeing his response, Julia went mute, and her face became serious.

Instead, Jared replied,’Come back early tonight.”
He already had a plan to give Julia an unforgettable Valentine’s Day.
“This night? Julia thought, then raised her head and glanced at Alexander.

“By the way,I may not come back early tonight. My friend returned from the country and promised to treat him tonight.”
“You don’t know what day it is today?“Jared asked when he called Julia. His mood that eased up added gloom there.

the call.
With that, Jared’s face darkened for an instant.
The air pressure inside his office was low,yet he didn’t mind it and continued redialing her
number.
‘Sorry,the number you have dialed has switched off the phone. Please try again later…
Jared pursed his lips, and his face was now too cold. He looked at his computer in front of him. but did not want to continue working as he lost his mood.
Two hours passed–the time Jared had to get off work. Jared got his phone, called her, but it was the same. She wouldn’t accept the call.
‘Does she not know how to charge her cell phone? Perhaps she chose not to accept my call?‘
His heart was almost filled with anger,thinking about Julia.
However, Julia was telling the truth and didn’t intentionally shut down.Yet, she didn’t charge it.If she would, then Jared would call all over again,and it wouldn’t be a good time for her to play at
that time.
Meanwhile, Alexander finished filming and went to Julia’s side.“How are you doing, boss? By the way,is my acting good?”
“Death is heroic!“Julia exclaimed and thumped up.
Alexander was over the moon with her praise.
“Let’s go.I booked a restaurant in advance for us.“Alexander reached into his pocket,which had the ring he would use to propose to his boss that night.
“Alright,then that’s good,“replied Julia.
Julia and Alexander went out and arrived at the hotel, and the elevator
opened. Meanwhile, Henry got out and happened to see them.
“Isn’t it Julia? Why is she with another man?“Henry was perplexed.
Henry’s heart mulled over, realizing it was Valentine’s Day,a special day for the couple. Yet, he would catch Julia with other men. It would sound tricky.
‘I need to follow them secretly.
Henry felt he couldn’t follow them in person and thought it would be wrong if Julia were caught.
With that, he randomly called the waiter and gave him some tips.
“Can you help me keep an eye on them? Don’t lose track of them,“said Henry to the waiter.
“Okay, sir.”
After the waiter left, Henry got his cell phone and called Jared.Once Jared accepted the call, he said, “Jared, I saw Julia now.”
On the flip side, Jared was about to get in his car and would find Julia,yet he got a call from

“Where?“Jared asked.
“Four Seasons Hotel,with a man,“Henry admitted and added, “Both were chatting and laughing and seemed to have a good relationship.You must come here quickly.”
For an instant,half an hour later, Jared went to the said hotel.
When Henry found Jared, Jared’s face had an unsettled demeanor. Henry comforted him, “Well, I didn’t accuse them of anything.They might be just ordinary friends. I even asked the waiter to help me eye them. They seem to have a good relationship, but with no intimacy.”
“Can you tell me where she is?“Jared asked while bringing his gaze up,with a dangerous luster in his black eyes.
“Come with me.”
Henry led the way to the private room on the third floor. He cleared his throat and asked Jared, “Shall we enter inside without knocking on the door?”
After he spoke, there was a band that could be heard inside.
‘Can a friend have a meal with a band playing? Wouldn’t it be too romantic for couples only?Things seem very bad.’
Without uttering anything, Henry slowly looked at Jared at his back. He was aware that Jared would be feverish with what they heard. Any man who could listen to that would be infuriated about that kind of thing.
Henry was only hoping the two inside felt bored, and for them to have fun,they looked for a band.
When Henry thought about it, Jared had already shifted, veered around the doorknob, and pushed it away.
Upon entering, both glimpsed Alexander kneeling before Julia,showing a ring in his hand.
“Julia,marry me.I will take good care of you for the rest of your life.”
