Chapter 47 A Picture
Mark Smith did not read any of the comments, in which the section had been flooded. His gloomy and sharp eyes stared at the intimate and ambiguous photos of Mae Lee and Aaron Foster.
In one photo, they were chatting and laughing, holding hands in the coffee shop. In the other photo, they walked out of the coffee shop side by side. Mae was in a good mood and happily got into Aaron’s car. The snapshots were from different angles and are positioned well. It looks dazzling and heart–wrenching.
The phone kept beeping from message notifications. It was from Jennifer Bleak.
[Mark, please help Mae, I do not want to see her being scolded like that by netizens ]
[These photos must be taken by the paparazzi; everyone must have misunderstood Mae. ]
[You gave Mae 10 billion back then, and her worth is not lower than that of Mr. Foster. How could she find him for money?]
Jennifer sent several messages, but Mark ignored them. The temperature in the car was gradually dropping. Even the driver in the front seat and Robert in the passenger seat could feel it.
Robert quietly turned his head and saw that his big boss had a gloomy and cold face on the spacious rear seat. The phone in his hand was almost deformed by him.
What is wrong with him? Who messed with him again?
Robert subconsciously shrank his neck and hid his head in front of the chair, for fear that if he was
caught by the big boss, he would become a cannon fodder for his anger.
Jennifer sent Mark several messages but did not receive any reply. Although she was a little disappointed, she was still in a good mood.
“Jennifer, why did you ask for Mr. Smith’s help on Mae Lee’s behalf? They are both divorced. Besides, this was all brought about by Mae Lee herself. What if she pesters Mr. Smith again?”
The assistant did not understand. She had always kept Jennifer’s phone. As her assistant, she naturally saw the message Jennifer sent to Mark Smith.
“What do you know? Of course, I have a purpose for doing this.”
How could someone like Mark pay attention to entertainment news on Twitter? Even if Mae Lee’s scandal with Aaron Foster dominated the trend for a few months, he probably would not know.
She sent the trending searches to Mark, letting him know how ill–tempered Mae was. She also showed her gentleness and generosity.
More importantly, even if Mark really wanted to help Mae, she finally mentioned that Mae had asked him for 10 billion back then. How could Mark still help her?
Mae Lee, that bitch. Back then, she snatched Mark in front of her. Now, she would never give her another chance to steal him again.
The assistant did not say anything more when she saw her confident attitude.

Jennifer raised her hand to interrupt her assistant, “I’m afraid that doing it too obviously will make Mark suspicious. Let us not do anything these days.”

For a while, Mae Lee did not see Mark Smith again. Occasionally, she heard some news about him. Most of them were gossip between Mark Smith and Jennifer Bleak.
