Celeste couldn’t help but laugh. “Don’t count your chickens before they hatch. I haven’t finished laying out my terms yet.”

“I only have one condition. During the trial period, we don’t spill the beans about us. In public, we keep our distance. Got it?”

“Interns and full–time employees earn the same?”
Without hesitation, Liam said, “Yeah, if an intern’s skills are on par with a full-time employee’s, they naturally get the same salary.”
Celeste gritted her teeth. He’s already testing the waters and he’s not even an official boyfriend yet?
She glared at him, coldly replying. “Ah, in that case, in my company, interns get 60% of a full–time employee’s salary. So, you’re only allowed to hold hands.”

The corners of Celeste’s mouth curled up. “You can always quit. We’re not short on applicants.”
