She paused, deliberately glancing at his lower body. The hint was obvious.
Nicolas’s face turned red, then green. He couldn’t speak for a long time.
Trisha loved seeing him embarrassed, she said in surprise, “You don’t know about your problem? You’ve had so many girlfriends, hasn’t anyone mentioned this to you?”
Without waiting for Nicolas to answer, she continued, “I get it. They must have been considering your pride, so they didn’t say it directly. They might have even complimented you on purpose, giving you a false sense of self–satisfaction”
After saying this, she slapped Nicolas on the shoulder, “You should thank me Without me, you would never know about this problem in your life” Nicolas gritted his teeth and pushed her hand away. “Thank your head!” He then stood up, grabbed his phone and walked out
Trisha didn’t move, calling out loudly. “Don’t go, cant you take a joke? Being quick has its advantages, it’s painless…“
Before she finished, “Bang!” The door was slammed shut.
Trisha immediately lay down, one leg bent at the knee, her toes wiggling happily
She picked up her phone and saw that someone in the work group had sent a red packet link. She immediately clicked to grab a share and got a few bucks
Just as she was happy about getting tomorrow’s coffee money, she realized that the link was sent by that annoying scriptwriter.
She scrolled up and found out that the scriptwriter was celebrating the start of his new drama in the group. The one that Trisha’s work was plagiarized for
She suddenly felt the few bucks had dirtied her hands. Before she could return it, the scriptwriter sarcastically commented, “People on vacation have it good, so quick even at this late hour. Unlike us, still at the company revising scripts in the middle of the night, really envious.”
This comment made Trisha nauseous
But she held it in, mainly because the group had colleagues and there was no need to make a scene here. So she pretended not to see it, opened Paypal, got the scriptwriter’s account from her colleague, and prepared to transfer the money back. She didn’t want him to think she was desperate for money.
As she was transferring, a colleague in the group said, “If you’re envious, you can take a vacation. The boss didn’t refuse your vacation.”
The annoying scriptwriter said, “I actually want to take a vacation too. But I have too much work. If I take a vacation, who can help me finish these tasks?”
The colleague said, “Can’t you just let your assistant do it?”
“Assistant? Oh, forget it Young people these days, they might not be super competent, but they have a lot of scheming. Before you even ask them to do something, they’re already plotting against you. And when I found out, you blamed me, accusing me of not doing my job”
