Liam stared at the phone screen, the words on it suddenly becoming a bit blurry. He shook his head and replied, “Okay”

As he left, he dialed Owen’s number But before he could make the call, someone bumped on his arm, and the phone flew out of his hand into an ice bucket on the ground
Most of the ice in the bucket had melted, and the phone was soaked in water
The waiter who bumped him apologized hastily
Liam frowned He pushed the waiter away, walked to the ice bucket, and picked up the phone
The phone screen turned black from the water damage and he could no longer make a call
All Liam felt was his head spinning and splitting with pain.

A female voice came from above.
Liam looked up, seemingly in a daze
Meanwhile, Celeste, after seeing Liams “Okay” reply, started to worry. After a while, the sent him another message, “Where are you guys? Do you want me to pick you up?”
Liam didn’t reply to her
Celeste frowned. For some reason, she was womed
So she texted Owen, “Owen, Liam seems a bit unwell. He’s not replying to my texts. Could you check on him?”
Owen quickly replied, “Madam, I’m not in J City night now Don’t worry, I’ll send someone to check on him. I will contact you once I get in touch with him.”
Celeste let out a sigh of relief and replied, “Thanks”
After getting out of the car Celeste unexpectedly ran into Mason in the elevator
Mason was with a middle–aged bald man. He was fat and seemed somewhat familiar
She didn’t notice that Naomis expression changed when she saw the man
“Celeste, what are you doing here?”
Mason was clearly happy to see Celeste
Celeste smiled and said, “Our crew had a gathering so we came over to hang out. What about you? Are you here to talk about work again?
Mason nodded, and said gently. “I originally wanted to contact you these couple of days, but I didn’t expect to run into you, Mason said, “When you guys finish, can we have a chat?”
Celeste was slightly stunned. “Chat about what?”
Mason chuckled, looking down, “Let’s talk about why you skipped asking me for advice and went straight to our company’s intern lawyer”
