Liam finally got a taste of what it felt like to be ignored.
So, the “I miss your voice” message not only expressed his longing but also had a hint of complaint.
Celeste pictured Liam on the other end, furrowing his brows while typing on his phone, and couldn’t help but smile.
She opened up Instagram, preparing to follow Liam again and send him a few voice messages, only to find that he was still on her friends list.
How was that possible?
She clearly remembered unfollowing Liam’s Instagram account the night she proposed the divorce.
She had her suspicions before, because after the divorce, he seemed to have a direct line to her emotions. Not only could he guess her mood, he even knew when she would be hungry
She thought it was some kind of telepathy, turned out when Liam was taking photos for Sean Knott’s exam, he used her phone to follow himself back!
He had been snooping on her Instagram posts for the past two months!
Celeste gritted her teeth and sent Liam a message before unfollowing him again.
Seeing the message from Celeste, Liam knew he had been caught. He hurried to type a reply but failed to send it as Celeste had unfollowed him again.
Liam was speechless
Why did he have to mention “hearing her voice“?
Just as Liam was about to text Celeste an explanation, his phone rang.
The chairman of the J City Business Association was calling, asking when he could make it.
Liam didn’t want to attend the business association gathering but the current chairman was a good friend of his father. He had been invited multiple times and it would be rude to refuse again, so he had just arrived at the hotel.
I’m here, I’ll be right up” Liam said.
“Alright, I’ll send someone to pick you up. The chairman said.
After hanging up, Liam sent Celeste a money transfer with a note saying. Im sorry, please forgive me.”

Liam chuckled and got out of the car.
As Celeste was checking her bank account balance, an unknown number sent her a text: [Should we do it together?]
Celeste was confused
She slowly replied with a “?”
The person replied it’s Hertha Kelley]
Celeste immediately blocked the number
Hertha Mrs. Kelley, Skyler’s friend, who knew what she was up to?
Mrs. Kelley waited for Celeste’s reply on Whatsapp, but after a long while there was still no reply. So, she called only to find that she had been blocked.
She was livid!
Sydney was the last one to arrive
She was dressed in the latest Chanel dress, meticulously made up and carrying a handbag. She stood at the door with an apologetic smile, “Sorry I’m late, there

Naomi eyed Sydney’s handbag with envy
She recognized it instantly as a limited edition from Hermes, only available to VIP members.
The paychecks of top–tier actors in the entertainment industry were totally out of sync with their status. Naomi, for example, her most expensive bag didn’t even hit the five–figure mark, and she only had one, the one she intentionally brought out today.
She strutted around confidently with her bag, basking in the envy and compliments of others just moments ago. But when Sydney showed up, that pricey bag of hers suddenly made her feel a bit cheap, stirring up a cocktail of jealousy and unhappiness in her.
However, when she looked around, she realized that the other actresses‘ bags weren’t any better than hers, which kind of balanced things out a bit. Especially when she saw the bag Celeste was carrying, it was such a nondescript piece, she could barely hold in her laughter
Celeste didn’t give a hoot about Mrs. Kelley’s drama.
