Celeste spoke with a poker face, “Let Liam take the call.”
Owen glanced at the CEO next to him and made up an excuse: “Mr. Reed’s in a meeting right now. If there’s anything you need, you can tell me and I’ll pass it along.” Celeste said angrily, “Ask him, does he think he’s done something good?”
“Who’s he fooling with his show of affection? Do I not know what kind of guy he is?”
“Liam, you blockhead, you big dummy!”
As soon as Celeste started hurling insults, Owen had already switched his phone to speaker.
This was Ms. Campbell’s “warm greetings” to Mr. Reed after their divorce; how could he not let Mr. Reed hear it?
Liam listened expressionlessly as Celeste finished her tirade of foul language.
If it weren’t for him pretending to be in a meeting, he would really want to retort.
After Celeste had vented her anger, she was quiet for a while before she said, “Forget it; don’t tell him. Tell him not to send me clothes anymore; I already have more than enough.”
Liam’s face immediately brightened up.
Celeste didn’t want him to hear all this; he still had a place in her heart.
Owen, watching from the side, had made his judgment about their relationship.
Celeste hung up the phone and found everyone looking at her in surprise.
She seriously explained, “I’m not usually like this.”

Well, the customer is always right. Even if this customer is a bit hot–tempered.
Garnett said, “Ms. Campbell, why don’t you try them on? If anything doesn’t fit, we can replace it promptly.”
Celeste said, “Can you guys take these clothes back?”
There must be twenty or thirty pieces; she’d have to try them on for a long time.
“These clothes are all custom made to your measurements; we can’t return them. Even if you don’t accept them, we’ll still have to charge you.”
Celeste fell silent.
So she obediently went to try on the clothes.
With each change, Garnett had the accompanying photographer take pictures in order to give feedback to the designers and promptly adjust the clothes according to her style.
For the next two hours, Trisha sat at home watching a fashion show.
No doubt about it, Liam has a good eye.
The clothes he picked were perfect for Celeste.
Of course, with a face like Celeste’s, pretty much any outfit would suit her.
The suitability here was mainly in terms of temperament.
After all the individual pieces and sets were tried on, Garnett had someone bring out two boxed sets of lingerie for Celeste to try on.
Before Celeste went into the bedroom, Garnett stopped her and said, “Ms. Campbell, these are our new line of lingerie; we need to take photos to give feedback to the designers.”
Celeste frowned. “You need to take photos of the lingerie too?”
Garnett nodded. “Lingerie is a product that needs to fit and feel comfortable; these are all things the designer needs to know. But rest assured, we value our customers‘ privacy very much, and the photos we take will not be leaked.”
Before Celeste could say anything, Trisha was already holding up her phone to Garnett and saying, “I’ve recorded what you just said. If Celeste’s private photos get leaked, you guys are in trouble. Her ex–husband has a lot of influence, enough to bankrupt you.”

She hadn’t said she agreed yet, had she?
But in the end, she was photographed, the reason being simple: the lingerie was designed by a Chinese designer she really liked. This designer had mentioned on social media the custom lingerie process, which indeed included taking photos and sending them back to the designer.
However, what Celeste hadn’t expected was that the private photos she had just taken were immediately sent to Liam’s phone.
