Valeria urgently asked, “What did you just say?”
The security guard, wiping sweat from his forehead, nervously said, “Mr. Liam had the front gate busted open with an
excavator.”
Kaylee’s face instantly changed. Was that what he meant by giving her five minutes?
Before she had time to think, the door was kicked open with force. Four muscular bodyguards walked in one by one, then lined up.
Liam entered through the middle of them, with Owen following closely behind.
His face was frosty as he stared at Kaylee and coldly said, “Out!”
In this situation, Kaylee would surely not go with him. She quickly stood up and hid behind Clyde, her face pale, teeth clenched, and firmly said, “I’m not going.”
Clyde protected Kaylee and seriously said, “Liam, you brought a bunch of people in the middle of the night; isn’t that a bit disrespectful to me?”
Liam’s face was cold. “Because you’re my uncle, I respect you; that’s why I called ahead.”
His words were full of implications. If he didn’t respect him, he wouldn’t waste time making a call but would directly destroy his home.
Clyde understood the meaning of his words, and his face turned bad immediately.
Liam didn’t look at him anymore but stared straight at Kaylee and said, “Kaylee, out! You need to take responsibility for your actions; no one can protect you today.”
Kaylee clung tightly to Clyde’s arm, resisting stubbornly. “You say I have to take responsibility for my actions; it’s all because of that woman! Unless you kill me, I won’t go with you!”
Liam was out of patience; he raised his hand and made a gesture, and the bodyguards behind him immediately moved forward to grab Kaylee.
Kaylee panicked and ran upstairs. The bodyguards wanted to chase her, but Clyde immediately blocked the stairs and coldly said, “This is my house; I dare you!”
He finished speaking and looked at Liam. “Are you planning on breaking into a private residence?”
The bodyguards stopped, waiting for Liam’s orders.
The atmosphere on the scene was tense.
Valeria frowned. Was Liam planning to take someone away today, no matter what? What a blockhead Clyde was. Skyler couldn’t even persuade her son–why did he have to meddle in this mess?
Before she could speak, Wesley stepped forward, smiling and saying to Liam, “Big brother, we’re all family; there’s no need for this. Let Kaylee stay here tonight; you go back and cool down; tomorrow morning we can-
Before he could finish, Liam suddenly grabbed his collar and pushed him aside.
“It’s not your turn to speak to me!”
Wesley’s back hit the coffee table, the marble top pressing against his spine, causing him to turn pale with pain.
Valeria, no longer caring about anything else, quickly helped Wesley up and said with a grim expression, “Liam, what the hell are you doing?”
Clyde’s face turned even colder. “Liam, you’ve gone too far!”
Liam didn’t look at hirm but directly said, “Go up and drag her down for me!”
As soon as he spoke, two bodyguards combined their strength to pull Clyde away.
The other two went straight up the stairs to grab Kaylee.
Although Clyde was over fifty, he was no match for these well–trained bodyguards. Before he could react, he was restrained
