Celeste directly stuffed the snacks to the guy and walked to Liam with the stuff in her hand
The guy held the snacks, pondering Liam’s gaze before he left, and the more he thought about it, the more frightened he became. The snacks in his hand suddenly felt like a ticking time bomb
In the CEO’s office
“The Tasty Tree’s gnocchi, rich in filling, and meatballs, their meatballs are very authentic, they sell out if you go late, this is a salad… there’s nothing special about this, mainly for balancing nutrition, and a lemon sorbet, it’s really yummy and healthy”
Celeste laid out the food she brought one by one, introducing them as if they were treasures.

Celeste was stunned, “He did, what’s wrong?”
Liam glared at her, “Nothing, just listening to you describe the dishes in such detail, I thought you used to do lots of part-time jobs.”
Celeste was speechless. She shouldn’t have responded to Liam’s words!
What else can this guy say besides sarcasm?
She glared at Liam and ignored the guy, turning her head to fiddle with the new sets of clothes she had just bought.
“Although I paid for today’s shopping. I’m not as stingy as you. Look, these two shirts are for you.”
Liam said coldly. “So should I thank you?”
Celeste squinted her eyes and said, “No need, as long as Mr. Reed keeps his promise, gives me a billion after getting control of Quantum, and divorces me, that’s enough”
Liam snorted, “Make me a cup of tea.”
As Celeste took off the tags, she said, “Isn’t Owen outside? Let him do it.”
Liam paused with his chopsticks, “Are you trying to split that billion with Owen?”
Celeste stopped, stood up, and put on a hypocritical smile, “Alright, I go right away! Mr. Reed, just wait a moment-”
As she left the office, Celeste complained quietly.
He treated her like a maid just for spending some money. Once she had money, she would definitely throw it in Liam’s face and make him hold her shoes!
She didn’t go far before she ran into Owen. Owen was holding documents, walking very fast, and greeted Celeste politely when he saw
her.
Celeste stopped him and asked, “Where’s the staff’s lounge in your company?”
“The staff’s lounge?” Owen was stunned, and tentatively asked. “Do you want some tea?”
“It’s Liam who wants to drink tea, I don’t know where the staff’s lounge is.”
Owen pursed his lips.
