Sienna was smart and knew how considerate Celeste was after spending years with her.

Valeria stepped forward to support Sienna, “Mom, don’t be angry. My sister–in–law has been busy lately, and she might have been a bit careless. Let’s go see Celeste. She’s been through so much these past few days, poor girl.”
Hearing Valeria’s words, Sienna’s expression softened slightly. She gave Skyler a cold stare and allowed Valeria to help her inside.
This time, even Kaylee was a bit annoyed with Skyler.
She should have stayed out of it. Although cutting off Celeste’s credit card wouldn’t cause Caitlyn’s death, doing so at this time was like inviting trouble for herself.
Kaylee wasn’t sad about Caitlyn’s death, but she was worried that Liam would take his anger out on her when he returned.
“Kaylee, help your mother,” Clyde Reed said calmly.
Kaylee reluctantly agreed and supported Skyler, saying, “Mom, let’s go in.”
As the Reeds arrived, the people at the funeral made way for them.
Sienna walked in with a solemn expression.
Now, her steps were much heavier than usual.
After everyone paid their respects, the old lady went to Celeste’s side.
Within just a few days, Celeste had lost a lot of weight. The sight of her broke Sienna’s heart.
She took Celeste’s hand and sighed softly, “You’ve suffered enough, and I’ve come too late.”
Celeste’s eyes welled up with tears, but she managed to choke out, “Grandma, I’m okay.”
Sienna lovingly stroked her face and whispered, “Don’t be afraid. From now on, our home is your home. I’ll stand behind you, and no one will dare bully you again.”
“Thank you, Grandma, Celeste said quietly.
Although Sienna’s voice wasn’t loud, everyone in the small room heard her words clearly.
Shawn now deeply regreted listening to Helen and turning against Celeste.
Sienna’s statement was basically telling everyone that the Reed family would be Celeste’s support from now on.
As long as he was tight with Celeste, the Campbell family would got nothing to worry about when it comes to the Reed family’s support, right?
But now, Helen had totally screwed him over by making him miss this golden opportunity!
Skyler’s face was getting uglier by the minute. Sienna had backed Celeste up in public multiple times, which was super humiliating for her. She even started to regret not taking action sooner.
Skyler stood there with a poker face and was pretty pissed with Sienna’s attitude. But considering there were a lot of people around, she didn’t say anything.
At 10 o’clock, the memorial service officially began.
By 10:40, the service had ended, and they started to prepare for the cremation.
Nicolas was constantly dialing Liam’s phone on the side.
Didn’t Liam say he’d be here by 1030? What the hell was he so busy with?
Just as the funeral home staff were about to nail the coffin shut, he finally saw Liam rushing back in a hurry.
