People behind her kept urging her to hurry up, so Celeste didn’t have time to think, she just took out another bank card and said, “Try this one.”

Celeste pursed her lips, “I was just at the hospital paying and they said my bank cards are frozen.”
Skyler answered flatly. “I froze them.”
Celeste was a little sad, “Why would you do that?”
Skyler chuckled coldly, “Celeste, when Liam comes back from his business trip, you two are getting divorced. Now that he’s gone, I need to prevent you from transferring assets. Seems I was right to be extra cautious. As soon as he leaves, you’re in a hurry to transfer the money in the accounts to your mom. Do you think the Reed family is a charity?”
Celeste didn’t even have time to think about how Skyler knew about their divorce after Liam’s business trip, but when she heard “prevent you from transferring assets,” she became extremely angry.

Celeste’s face turned pale, and then she received a call from Elaine, “Celeste, your mom’s not doing well, you better get up here!”
