“You let Liam help me find out more about Dr. Ledford’s character and reputation. If we end up together, you and Liam will be our witnesses.” Even if Trisha hadn’t asked, Celeste would have wanted to help investigate. “Do you know Dr. Ledford very well?”

Liam wasn’t intentionally withholding information, he genuinely didn’t know Dr. Ledford well. They had only occasionally met at Nicolas’ parties, and just acquaintances. Liam didn’t even know his background.
