When Celeste came out after washing up, Liam had already laid down.
She dried her hair and sat in front of the mirror, applying a face mask.

She consistently applied a face mask and did skincare before going to bed, no matter how late it was.

Liam watched her fussing in front of the dressing table for half an hour before finally lying on the bed.

Celeste closed her eyes, thinking about how to open the safe tomorrow and what Caitlyn could’ve put inside the safe. Everything was so secretive. If it weren’t for accidentally discovering the numbers on the tape, she wouldn’t have asked the dean and wouldn’t have found the safe.
Was it vital important company documents and account books that needed to be hidden?
Just as she was thinking about it, suddenly, she felt something pressing on her, and opening her eyes, Liam was already above her, looking at her tenderly.
She was stunned and was about to speak when Liam suddenly kissed her lips.
This was beyond Celeste’s expectations.

Liam’s eyes deepened, and he tightly held her wrists, using more force.
He thought it would end tonight, as it always did.
He ws not obsessed with lust, and when he first started dating, he only had sex three to four times a month, and except for the first time, it basically ended once. Besides the first time, it was always a one-time thing. Then he, a clean freak, had to go to the bathroom to clean for half a day.
But in the past six months, it’s been even more restrained, with no intimacy for three months.
But tonight, he was like a cat in heat, only stopping at 1 am.
Celeste was exhausted and lay on the bed, not wanting to move a finger.
Liar, on the other hand, seemed unfazed. He even took a shower but took much less than usual, only taking a few minutes.
After getting into bed, he suggested Celeste getting up and showering.
Celeste weakly kicked him and could only lay there, saying, “I won’t shower. If you think I smell, you can sleep outside. Bastard, do you realize how much effort you put into it? My abdomen is a little sore and swollen now. I don’t even have the energy to take a shower.”
Liam seemed to be in a good mood and didn’t argue.
He knelt beside her and whispered, “I gotta go on a business trip to City A next week, probably for about a week. Do you need anything?”
