The next morning, Celeste was woken up by the ringing of a phone.
Eyes still closed, she tried to find it on the bedside table. After searching for a while, she remembered her phone was with Liam, so she nudged him and mumbled, “Answer the phone.”

He glanced at the woman next to him, who was pretending to still be asleep, and picked up the call.
