Just at that critical moment, the man raised his hand to snatch the phone away. The screen shook for a moment, and the video ended.
The bold woman in the video was none other than herself, and the one she forced a kiss on was Liam.
Celeste’s eyes almost popped out, and she immediately tried to grab Liam’s phone.
Liam was quick to avoid her hand, lifting the phone with ease. He glanced at her indifferently, his lips curling up. “What, want to destroy the evidence?” Celeste’s face turned dark, “Liam, you took advantage of me! You knew I was drunk, and you still recorded this. How can you be so shameless?” Liam laughed at her twisted logic, “Celeste, look closely at who’s filming the video.”
Celeste argued, “Even if I took it, it was because I was drunk and not in control of my actions! You weren’t drunk. However, you didn’t stop it and even kept the video. That makes you shameless!”
She was trying to provoke Liam to delete the video, but Liam just chuckled and said, “Since you say I’m shameless, why don’t I just send it to everyone to
see?”
As he spoke, he picked up his phone and started editing. Celeste couldn’t bear it and immediately pounced on him to grab the phone.
Liam was half a head taller than her. All he had to do was raise the phone above his head, and even if Celeste jumped, she could only reach his wrist. Seeing that he was about to finish editing, Celeste panicked and hugged his neck, suddenly pushing her head up. Celeste finally came to her senses and hurriedly called a nurse to help.
It took a while for the nosebleed to stop. Liam tilted his head back, his face pale, not knowing if it was because he lost blood.
After the nurse left, Skyler started questioning. “What the heck happened for you to fight with your own husband outside and make him bleed?”
Celeste clenched her lips, lowered her head, and whispered, “I didn’t mean to.”
“You didn’t mean to, but you still hurt him?” Skyler said angrily. “This is what you can do outside. What do you do at home when no one’s around?”
Liam frowned and said, “Mom, it’s not as serious as you think. We were just joking around.”
That still doesn’t mean you can be so reckless!” Skyler said coldly, looking at Celeste, “I don’t care what you were like before or if your mom taught you. Now that you’re married to the Reed family, you must have manners! Even with your own husband, you can’t act like this outside. It’s not proper, and it looks bad to outsiders”
Celeste clenched her fingers and suppressed the discomfort in her heart. She whispered, “I’m sorry, it won’t happen again.”
Liam looked at her submissive appearance and felt very uncomfortable. She was cuter when she was feisty.
“And that party the other day, I heard you were getting all cozy with Liam in front of everyone? What a spectacle, do you know what people are saying?” Skyler said
“Let them say what they want! This is between us as a couple, who cares if they like it or not?” Liam threw the gauze into the trash and looked up coldly, “Mom, when did you become so uptight?”
