Chapter 1293
Mason took a sip of the water that was handed to him by the waiter, “What’s up with Ms. Colton? I ran into her just now. She seemed a bit off and didn’t even acknowledge my greeting.”
“I’m not sure,” Nicolas said, frowning. “She’s been acting strange and suddenly got angry.”
Mason laughed at this.
Nicolas looked at him, “What’s so funny?”
Mason casually replied, “I’m laughing at how, after all these relationships, it seems like you haven’t made any progress. You still can’t understand what a girl is thinking.”
Nicolas retorted, “You do? If you do, why are you still single?”
Mason answered, “Sigh, you should get a girlfriend too. You should meet the girl your mom introduced you to. I saw your mom the other day, and she’s starting to get white hair Don’t make her worry anymore.”
Mason looked down and mumbled an agreement
Nicolas patted him on the shoulder, stood up, and said, I’m going to check on Trisha. See you later”
Trisha washed her face in the bathroom and then received a call from Celeste asking her to come upstairs to change into her swimsuit.
The main event of the day was the outdoor pool
Both of them, who usually chatted quite freely online, were not so daring in real life. Their swimsuits were not that flashy.
Celeste wore a floral sundress, while Trisha was more conservative, opting for a one–piece
Trisha chose it because she felt she had some belly fat and wasn’t confident enough to wear a bikini
As for Celeste, she felt uncomfortable wearing something too revealing in front of so many people. She had many beautiful bikinis, but since Liam couldn’t swim, she rarely had the chance to wear them.
After changing, they stayed upstairs for a while
Trisha was leaning on the balcony overlooking the pool, waiting for more people to arrive so she wouldn’t feel awkward walking up.

The pool area was divided into several sections, which was great, as it would have felt awkward to play with unfamiliar people all mixed together.

When Trisha saw him, she grabbed Celeste and ran for it
Celeste pulled her back. Where the hell are you going?”
Trisha pouted, “I don’t wanna hang around him,”
Celeste was a bit taken aback, “You guys had a fight or something?”
Trisha furrowed her brows, unsure of how to respond. After a beat, she said, “Just seeing him ticks me off.”
“What did he do to you?”
Trisha clammed up
How could she say it out loud? She had fallen for him, but he only saw her as a shield.
No, she didn’t like him. How could she possibly fall for such a player?
Seeing her unable to spit it out, Celeste tried to comfort her, “What couple doesnt fight? Whatever he did to upset you, I’ll give him a piece of my mind.”
With some coaxing, Trisha eventually came back
Nicolas had already snagged a good spot. Seeing Trisha return, he immediately stood up and said. This spot is really comfy. Sit here”
Trisha was annoyed Why did he have to be so nice to her?
