Mason really put some thought into his gifts. The bag was a very delicate mini backpack, perfect for Trisha’s casual style.
But the scarf was a bit out of place; it was more Celeste’s style.
In the cloakroom of Pinecrest Manor, her wardrobe was filled with such scarves, some of which she even bought in different colors.
Liam couldn’t understand women’s aesthetics, and he even joked that she was like a Hydra, buying so many scarves because she had a lot of necks; each neck could wear one.
Of course, Celeste didn’t say anything nice about Liam either because Liam himself had several pairs of the same style of shoes; he was like a centipede, all feet.
Trisha really liked the bag. She tried it on and asked Celeste, “Letti, does it look good?”
Before Celeste could speak, Nicolas immediately praised her, “It looks great; it really suits your style.”
Trisha scoffed, “I didn’t ask you. What would a man know?”
Nicolas was helpless.
Liam said, “I also think it looks good, especially this scarf, which is very suitable for your skin tone.”
Trisha thought, even though he was complimenting her. It felt weird coming from Liam.
After all, she had just advised Celeste not to give him full marks too early, and Liam had even sent her a “threatening” text message. How did he suddenly become so emotionally intelligent?
