If it wasn’t for this incompetent woman, Silvia, losing sight of Jacques, she wouldn’t be in such a predicament.
She picked up the phone and answered, “What is it?”
Silna was displeased with her attitude But considering the current situation, she swallowed her anger, “Madam, how are you feeling?”
Helen’s voice was cold, “What do you think? I entrusted Jacques to you, and you lost him as soon as I handed him over!”
Silvia complained. You can’t blame that entirely on me. It was already dark, and Jacques ran outside by himself. There were so many people at the school. How could I possibly keep an eye on him all the time?”
In truth, she didn’t feel guilty at all.
Shawn was getting mamed again and had invited all the big names from J City Silvia wanted to take this opportunity to network with some “high–level” people. If she had connections, her son would have more opportunities and choices in the future
But Helen wouldn’t let her go, or to be precise, she didn’t want these “poor relatives” of the Campbell family to attend.
Though Caitlyn didn’t like these relatives, she invited them to her wedding anyway, but Helen wouldn’t even pretend to be inclusive. This made Silvia very angry.
She wouldn’t let her go and asked her to watch the kids. It was already very generous of her not to refuse, but what was she complaining about?
Helen didn’t want to argue with her. She thought Silvia was a calculating country bumpkin, which made her feel sick just looking at her.
She asked coldly. “What’s the matter with the call?”
Silvia finally got to the point. “That bitch Celeste, she hired a lawyer and is suing us, saying we’re occupying Caitlyn’s property and demanding us to move out.”
Helen was taken aback. Her face immediately turned serious.
“Celeste came after you?”
“She hired a lawyer who sent a letter demanding us to move out within three days, or else they will sue us for occupying other people’s property
Madam, I invested a lot of money in this kindergarten. If we move out, you have to reimburse me for my part. You said it was fine initially, but now that they’re coming after us, you have to bear the brunt of the responsibility”
Helen’s eyelids twitched with anger.

instead of trying to solve the problem, she was trying to shirk responsibility!
Helen took a deep breath, held back her anger, and said coldly, “What’s the point in saying this now? Did I invest less than you? Did I shortchange you when we were splitting the money? Now that there’s a problem, you’re thinking of running away I don’t have money to give you right now. Even if I did, the kindergarten is registered under your name. Do you think you can escape?”
Silvia’s face turned pale as she said, “It was your idea!”
Helen said coldly, “Didn’t you earn money from it? If it wasn’t for me, could your family afford to buy a house in the city center of J City? Could your son find such a good girlfriend?”
Silvia’s face tightened. She hated it when Helen spoke to her in this tone as if she was the only one who did all the good things!
“So what should we do now? If we don’t move, they’re going to sue us!”
Helen straightened up. “Even if she wants us to move, our preschool is big with so many students. Do we just pack up and leave? The parents will definitely oppose. and the government won’t back her up! Plus, we have property rights. Why should we be afraid of her?”
Though she said this, the thought of potential legal issues made Silvia uneasy. She had never dealt with court matters in her life and always felt that nothing good could come from it
“Do we need to hire a lawyer?” Silvia asked.
Helen pondered for a moment, then quietly said. “You don’t need to do anything now. Just continue operating the school as normal. We’ll see what they do after three days, and then we’ll deal with it depending on the situation”
Silvia felt helpless, she could only follow Helen’s plan.
After hanging up the phone, Helen’s face turned somber
She had just been kicked out by the Campbell family, and then her preschool was ordered to move by Celeste Shawn had frozen all her bank cards, and her only income now was the dividends from the preschool. This wicked Celeste, she was trying to cut off her livelihood!
