Soon, Nicolas found a bunch of cute cat photos for her to look at.
Trisha was delighted, thinking that she could be associated with such cute creatures.
But soon she noticed a problem, “Why are this cat’s legs so short?”
“Short?” Nicolas looked at the cat seriously, then looked at her and said seriously. “In proportion, you two are about the same, right?”
Trisha’s face darkened, and she stomped on him hard, saying angrily. “Your legs are short!”
Nicolas pretended to be in pain, but when he saw that Trisha was ignoring him, he immediately moved closer to her and coaxed, “I didn’t say your legs were short, I was just complimenting you on being cute.”
Trisha turned her head away.
“Actually, I just reserved a cat, it’s just a month old, and it will be home tomorrow. I mainly wanted you to help me check it out!
Trisha’s eyebrows twitched She loved cats, but because she always rented other people’s houses and the landlords didn’t allow pets, she never had one. So when she heard that Nicolas was getting a cat, she couldn’t help but feel envious.
“You should help me check out the cat Nicolas said gently.
Trisha said, “You’ve already bought it, no matter how it looks, you have to raise it. It’s a life, not a toy.”
Nicolas said, “7 didn’t spend any money. It’s a cat my friend’s cat gave birth to. I picked the best–looking kitten. You really don’t want to take a look?”
Trisha couldn’t resist the curiosity, turned her head to look at his screen, and then saw her own face on the screen, with added cat–ear effects.
Trisha was stunned.
Nicolas leaned in, smiling. “How is it, pretty?”
Trisha was immediately appeased. She glared at Nicolas and said quietly. “You sure know how to sweet talk!”
Nicolas smiled and handed her a tissue, “I really did adopt a cat, it’s just a month old. It’s coming home tomorrow, so you’ll be able to meet it then.”
“It’s coming home tomorrow? Have you prepared the cat supplies?”
Nicolas was taken aback, “What else do I need to prepare?”
“Didn’t you do any research? A month–old kitten needs milk powder and a cat toilet. Are you planning to let it pee and poop on your bed?” Trisha was a bit angry. “You didn’t prepare anything and just adopted it?”
Nicolas replied calmly. “I just thought it was cute and wanted to adopt it. I didn’t think too much about it.”
Trisha was not happy with this kind of adopter, “I just can’t with you. I’ll go with you to buy pet supplies tomorrow.”
Nicolas gave a slight smile, “Won’t that be a bother to you?”
Trisha shot him a disgruntled look, “Can’t let the kitty be stuck with such an irresponsible owner like you!”
As they were talking. Trisha saw Angel rushing out of the hospital through the car window.
She quickly nudged Nicolas, “Angel’s out”
The moment Angel stepped out, she hailed a taxi and left.
Nicolas immediately followed in his car.
After the taxi dropped Angel home, it left.
To avoid being noticed by Angel, Nicolas maintained a certain distance. The two waited in the car for a while, then saw a black BMW pass by. Trisha recognized it at a glance, “That’s Shawn’s car, Letti used to pick me up in this car.”
