An ex–husband showing up at his ex–wife’s adoptive father’s remarriage ceremony, even helping his ex–wife with the gift? What’s the deal?
Celeste Campbell gave Liam a cold look. “Mr. Reed, we broke up the moment we signed the divorce papers. Don’t do things that can be misunderstood” She paused, “Mr. Campbell raised me. It’s only right that I bring a gift. But you, Mr. Reed, why are you here with a gift?”
And such a big gift!
Liam smirked, “I just knew you would be here, so I came too. It’s just a small token.”
The crowd gasped.

No wonder Shawn Campbell managed to invite Liam.

People heard that Shawn and Celeste were in touch again. After all, Shawn raised Celeste. Even though they were not related by blood people would still think they had family ties. So that was not surprising
What was really surprising was that Liam would come to the wedding.

Their divorce was so ugly at that time and Celeste was left with nothing. Anyone would think they had completely split up.
Who would have thought that half a year later, they would both appear at Shawn’s wedding?

She was afraid that if she continued, she would give herself away.

“She went to get her phone from the car”

Nicolas actually wanted to go, but his little devil Trisha Colton thought he was crazy and wouldn’t let him run errands.
He made up a lie and said, “I went to her house to play and fell from a tree and hurt my back. Otherwise, how could I let my baby girl go? I’m not Liam, letting you run around with a hurt body.”
Nicolas has been trying hard to stop Liam from pursuing her.
Before, it was fine if Liam didn’t get her, but now that he has, she can’t let her boyfriend be bullied.
