I told you people in the entertainment industry are all smoky, but your mom fought with me. Now look, you’re at a disadvantage, right?”
Celeste almost vomited at his pretentious tone.
Shawn was the typical suppressive and self–centered parent.
If you wanted to study A, he’d tell you to choose B.
If you didn’t listen and choose A, he’ll keep pouring cold water on you. Even if you mastered A, you wouldn’t get a word of praise from him. Instead, he’d say, “What’s the use of studying so well?”

He used to ignore her, but now that they have no father–daughter relationship, he’s still playing this game, utterly shameless. She replied coldly. “Did Mr. Campbell call just to mock me?”
Shawn immediately responded, “You kid, I’m just concerned about you. As soon as I heard about this yesterday, I immediately contacted people to investigate. Don’t worry, I will definitely clear your name.”
He was really good at making up titles for himself.
