Liam, not in the mood for small talk, asked directly, “So, are you going to help me or not?”
Nicolas replied bluntly, “Just announce that you two are married on your personal account, then problem solved. Who would then guess what relationship your ex–wife has with Mason? What’s this nonsense about blowing up accounts? Do you think Twitter is mine to control?”
Liam’s face changed, “If I could announce it, would I be asking you?”
Nicolas said again, “Have your wife clarify it directly then.”
Liam said impatiently, “I’m afraid she’ll overthink and assume I don’t trust her.”
Nicolas saw him so helpless for the first time and couldn’t help but laugh, “Liam, you’re dating yet acting so pathetic. You’re so protective and spoiling her. Aren’t you afraid she’ll leave you after she becomes famous?”
Liam confidently said, “No way After all, no one is as handsome as me”
Nicolas said, “People age and young handsome guys will always emerge Celeste isn’t the loyal type, and once she becomes famous, she may not be interested in an already past–his–prime guy like you. You’d just be a stepping stone to her success.”
Liam didn’t respond.
Trisha came over to hand Nicolas a water bottle, whispering, “Do you want to sit and rest for a while”
