Chapter 1094
Celeste was taken aback, turning around to see Mason standing not far away with his hands full.
He was just standing there, looking her up and down. His gaze was a bit hesitant, like he wasn’t sure if it was her.
Celeste motioned for silence, and Mason got the hint.
He strode towards her with the stuff in his hands, scolding in a low voice, “What are you doing shopping here at this time?”
Celeste lowered her voice too, “Who would know I come to the market if you don’t tell others?”
She took two tangerines from her bag and handed them to him, saying. “They’re cheap and sweet, try them.”
Mason looked at the two green tangerines in his hands, suspicious of whether she was trying to trick him into thinking they were
sweet.
Today, Mason was wearing a set of sportswear in light grey; his hair wasn’t as neat as usual, and with his handsome face, he looked particularly young
Celeste couldn’t help but take a second look. This sportswear looked nice, and she wondered if Liam would look good in it if they
had it in white
Her staring was a bit too obvious, making Mason a little uncomfortable. He whispered, “Is there something wrong with me?”

case
Mason was taken aback, then laughed. He also leaned in and said, “Would shaving my hairline higher make me seem more likely
to win?”
Celeste nodded immediately. “It’s not about the hairline, it’s about professional credibility.”
Mason laughed briefly before joking, “When I can’t find a job, I’ll consider shaving off the front of my hair.”
Celeste also laughed, “I was just kidding. With your impressive resume, who would question you because of your hairstyle?”
Seeing the two chatting and not buying anything, the fishmonger impatiently said, “Have you decided what to buy yet?”
Celeste said, “You go ahead: I’ll keep looking.”
The shopkeeper acknowledged her and told her to call him when she was ready, then went to serve other customers.
Mason asked, “How do you plan to cook it, soup or something else?”
“Soup”
“If it’s for soup, don’t choose a fish that’s too big or too fatty,” Mason observed the fish in the tank, pointing to one with slightly sunken eyes, “Like at this one with not–so–full eyes, or cloudy eyes, the freshness is not high, don’t choose it. Don’t choose fish with dark colors either, pick ones that are whiter in color, not too big, and with all scales intact. ”
He stopped, pointing to a palm–sized, slightly flat fish, “Choose this one, the soup with it will definitely be good.”
Celeste immediately called the shopkeeper
The shopkeeper glanced at the fish and praised, “You have a good eye.”
Celeste put the fish in the bag and looked up at Mason, “Don’t you want to pick one?”
Mason shook his head with a laugh, “I don’t eat fish.”
Celeste was surprised, “Given your knowledge of fish, I assumed you liked eating it.”
Mason said, “I enjoy fishing but don’t eat the fish myself”
