Back when she had Jacques, she did it in a private hospital which was quite convenient, but that’s not an option now
Shawn had already set up a file for her at the public hospital, so she was gonna have to give birth there. Not to mention, the blood type of the baby would be nowhere to hide.
Shawn is type A, she is type 0, how the hell could they have a kid with type B blood?
If this baby got bom, even an idiot like Shawn would figure out what’s up. How could she not worry?
Angel didn’t know about this yet. She just put the bowl on the table and came to sit by Helen’s bedside. “Mom, you gotta take care of yourself, how else are you gonna fight that little bitch?
Helen paused, “Did they deal with her kid yet?”
“Nope!” Angel got pissed off at the mention of it, “I got some people to forcibly take her, but my dad put a bunch of bodyguards around her place. I can’t even get
close.”
Helen clenched her fists. That bastard Shawn, she knew his words were bullshit!
“Where’s your dad? Get him over here!”
Angel snorted, “Even if he came, it wouldn’t matter. She’s carrying a boy. Don’t you know my dad yet? How could he possibly abandon a boy?”
Helen sat up in surprise, “What do you mean? A boy?”
Angel said with a stem face, “She went to some clinics to check the sex of the baby. Why else would my dad suddenly change his mind, not let her abort, and even send so many people to watch her? Didn’t you notice he’s been avoiding you these past few days?”
Helen looked awful.
A boy. It’s a boy!
If this kid is bom, he would be Shawn’s only son.
Then all her hard work and scheming would be for nothing, wouldn’t it?
Angel wasn’t too pleased about Helen being pregnant either
Even though Shawn favors boys, he wouldn’t be too unfair to her. But if there’s another little brother, that could change.
So she secretly didn’t want Helen to have another child.
But before it’s even certain if Helen is gonna have a baby. Shawn’s mistress is already definitely carrying a son, which is pissing Angel off.
She tried to get Lucilla Preston’s baby taken care of, saying it’s for Helen, but it’s really more for herself.
But now that she can’t deal with it, she could only snitch to her mom and let her take action.
Sure enough, when Helen heard that Lucilla was carrying a boy, she was so mad she was about to explode.
She gritted her teeth, “Call your dad. Tell him I have a stomach–ache and he needs to come back ASAP”
Angel was waiting for this. She comforted Helen not to get angry and upset her pregnancy, while dialing Shawn’s number
Shawn was over the moon when he found out Lucilla was carrying a boy.
While he said he was at the office, he was actually spending most of his time at Lucilla’s place, guarding his “precious son”
