Trisha was thinking to herself, she definitely knew about Nicolas ex–girlfriends, she’d even had interactions with them through work. She knew more than just their names, she also knew how things ended between them and Nicolas.
Being a gossip lover, Trisha was always intrigued by such matters of the heart within their circle
Cleaning her throat, Trisha put on an air of understanding about relationships, “Yeah, he has had quite a few girlfriends, but he’s never been a player or had two girls at the same time. It’s normal for a successful guy like him to attract girls, you know”

Trisha wanted to say it didn’t, but when the words were about to leave her mouth, she felt a discomfort
What made it hard for her to say was not the fact that she was going to lie, but the thought of Nicolas ex–girlfriends, which suddenly made her feel uneasy
She looked down and admitted. “Of course it bothers me a bit, but we can’t always dwell on the past. How can I demand him to remain unchanged during the time! wasn’t even in his life? If I like someone, I should care more about their present and future, right?”

Celeste frowned, “Why were you at the hospital?”
“I was–I was taking care of him. He had a hemorrhoid flare–up and I accompanied him to get it treated.”
Celeste glanced at Trisha and sighed, “Well, since you two are together now, all I can do is to wish you well. If Nicolas dares to hurt you, tell me, I’ll have Liam teach him a lesson. Also, you can’t sleep with him until you guys are married. He has a complicated past, I can’t trust him.”
