Seeing her this fragile and badly hurt is heartbreaking, I will get everyone involved for doing this to her. That’s a promise I’m going to keep.
“Are you sure she can mark me?” I have to ask him, not knowing if she still is able without her wolf. He gets up and takes off her breathing mask quickly and lifts her upper lip for me to see.
“Her canines are still longer, she hasn’t lost them. I’m sure she can mark you if you get her to do it. All we can do is hope she will be able and get stronger with the help of the bond” he says and place the mask over her mouth again.
I hear some beeping coming from a machine and looking at it I see her steady heartbeat on the monitor. Another machine is connected to her but I have no idea what it does.
“You will have to take a seat and be ready to lift her up if she is going to be able and mark you. We will wake her up and once she is awake she might react to the pain, we can’t give her more morphine or she won’t wake up,” he says and it pains me I have to do this and cause her more pain, but it’s the only way.

“We will start by slowly waking her up, be ready,” a nurse says when I see them start to give her injections through the tubes that are connected to her body.

“Love, you are badly hurt and I need you to do something,” I say when her heart monitor starts to beep faster. I see the doctor come with a flashlight and look into her eyes before he takes it away.
“You have to hurry up,” he says when I turn her head slightly up to look at me.

“You can’t leave Noah this way! He needs his mother in his life… I need his mother!” I say to her and hope she will find the strength to fight this. She doesn’t open her eyes and I hear the doctor walk over to the other side of the bed and start doing something. Tears keep running down her cheeks and I don’t dare to touch her badly bruising face to cause her more pain.
“Don’t have him to lose his mother. Don’t punish him for something I have done. You can punish me for the rest of your life for what I did, just stay with us!” I say when I see her open her eyes and look at me.
“Aliza!” I say and look at her when I hear the heart machine slow down its beating and an alarm goes off, her eyes roll back in her head and the doctor is quick over.
“Place her back on the bed!” he orders out and I’m quick to place her down when they start working on her with needles. They inject something and all I can do is stand there and look at her, she is pale and blue on her lips when the nurse has placed the breathing mask back on.
It feels like an eternity before the heart monitor starts to beep normally again and her heartbeats have picked up. The doctor starts to examine her eyes again but she is unmoving on the bed.
I see the doctor look at the monitors and back at her when he examines her closer. Seeing her eyes start twisting again I wait for any directions of what to do.

“There won’t be any more chance than this. Pick her up and we will try one more time!” the doctor says when I walk over to the bed and take a seat on it. I hate to cause her this pain but now she has to do it.
Lifting her small body I place her head to my shoulder and wait for her to open her eyes.
It takes a long moment while I look at her every closely and hear the machine beeping in the background.
Her breath starts to beat faster again and her eyes move under the eyelids, holding her face I trace my thumb over her bottom lip while I wait for her to open her eyes.
“Aliza, I know you can hear me and I need you to open your eyes for me!” it takes a short moment until I see her slowly open them again for

She tries to focus and find my face to look at but it takes her several attempts to manage and keeps her eyes open to find mine. Her gaze is sad and she looks to be in a lot of pain, but this is the only way.
“You have to do this Aliza, I can’t let you go!” I say and pull her a bit further up when she grunts in pain.
“I’m not letting you go without a fight, you have to stay with us,” I say and place her head at my shoulder where she should mark me when the doctor helps her face to come in the right place.

Seconds go by and I feel her breath on my skin. Placing my hand on the back of her head gently I wait for her.

My blood starts to run down my chest when she gives away a grunt and suddenly goes slack in my arms.
