I have been waiting the last fifteen minutes for anyone to come out here and tell me how it’s going. They had to give her some blood and I donated what I could if they can use it.
Walking over to the window in the waiting room I have been placed in I look outside and try to main calm, hearing the door being opened behind me I turn around to see who it is.
“I’ve got some new clothes for you!” Jeffrey says when I see him walk inside the room.
Looking at my body I’m still naked and haven’t cared about putting anything on since I brought her here.
“Good!” I say and walk over to take them from him, he doesn’t let go when I grab them.
“I think you should take a shower!” he says and I look at my body and all her blood that’s covering my chest and abdomen, and I’m full of petrol that was on her clothes.
“I’ll take a shower later,” I say and try to have him to let go of them.

“No, you can’t look like that when she wakes up!” he says and he is right but I’m not leaving this hospital.
“I won’t leave to get a shower,” I say and pull my clothes out of his hands when I turn around to get dressed.
“Hold up! I will get you a shower in the hospital. Wait a minute” he says and walks out of the room and closes the door after him. It doesn’t take many minutes before he comes back again.
“Come on,” he says and I grab my clothes and follow him inside an empty room for the staff, a bathroom with a shower is to the left and I head right over and close the door before getting in the shower.
Washing up quickly, I don’t have time to stand here and wait if they come out with some new information. Taking a towel and dry my body before putting on my clothes, buttoning my pants, and pull my shirt on before walking out of the room. Just to be as quick as I can!
“Looks better.” Jeffrey says when I walk out of the bathroom and button my shirt before tucking it in my pants.
“Any news?” I ask him when he opens the door and hands me a coffee he was holding before we reach the waiting room.
“Chase and Liz are on their way, will be here any moment,” he says when we step inside the room and I hear footsteps behind us. Turning around I see them come walking with fast steps over to where we are.
“How is she?” Liz asks before she even have walked inside the room.

Taking some steps inside they both stop inside the room and look at

“I haven’t heard anything yet,” I say when Liz drags a hand down her face and looks devastated. She smells of petrol and has blood all over
her clothes.
“Can you tell me what happened?” I ask her when she starts to pace around in the room before she suddenly walks over and takes a seat on one of the couches.
“We were on our way home from her house when she just hit the break in the middle of the road and said no, repeatedly before she quickly turned around and we went back to her house,” she says and Chase
walks over to take a seat beside her on the couch.
“She searched frantically for a box, she told me in there it was a wallet from her former Beta and when she saw it was missing she said he was behind all this!” she says and did I hear it right?

“Wait! Go back, what does her former Beta have against her?” I ask her and take a few steps closer to where she sits.
“She explained when you rejected her and her pack threw her out of her pack, the beta tried to rape her. She fought her way out from it and she was certain she made him blind in one eye and to get away she staged her own death, but she kept his wallet. When it wasn’t in her basement she was sure he is behind all this” she says and my anger takes over and I crush the cup I was hoping I’m my hand, still with coffee inside and pieces fall to the ground.
“Then what?” I ask her and try to hold my rage down.
“She jumped in the car and headed over here, but we found your cars stranded on the side of the road and slowed down. That’s when we were hit from the side and pushed over the slope, she didn’t use any seat belt and she was badly injured in the crash!” she says and breaks down in a sob when I see Chase place his arm over her shoulders.
“Jeffrey, have you found out what our cars were doing there!” I say when I see his eyes glance over
“You pulled her out of the car?” I ask her when she wipes away some tears before I see her take a deep breath and she gives me a nod.
“She was unconscious when I pulled her out of the car, placed her on the ground, and looked at her injuries before walking up to the road

and trying to see if someone was still around. I tried to mind link Chase but couldn’t reach him and when no one where around I went back and tried to find my phone in the car!” she tells us and I instantly see a problem.
“The car wasn’t on fire when you dragged her out?” looking at her when she looks guilty and starts to cry.
“No, when I left her to go and look for help it wasn’t on fire and she didn’t have the stab wound in her stomach. I only made it a bit when I noticed someone was following me and I had to run and hide When they didn’t find me I stepped out of my hiding place after a little while and started to run back to where I left her.” she says and then it’s clear to me, the one behind it came back to finish her off.
“I found the car on fire and saw she was about to get burned so I dragged her away from there to get her to safety. Someone stabbed her while I where away and I couldn’t get her to wake up before I was attacked by the wolves you saw me fighting with!” she says and anger is bubbling under my skin, whoever did this will get my rage when I get a hold of them!
I can’t stay in here, I will find the ones behind this! Turning around I’m ready to head for the door when it’s opened and my doctor comes walking inside with a nurse beside him. I know by the sight of him it’s not any good news he is here to deliver
“What is it?” I boom out in a harder tone than I planned to when I see him calmly look at me.
“I need you to take a seat!” he says but I’m standing in my place.
