Chapter 82
Aliza pov
The impact with our car is hard and suddenly my world starts to spin around, Liz screams beside me when I hit my head in the roof of the car. Every hit hurts tremendously and I can’t even try to hold on to a thing.
I feel when my ribs crack in my chest when I hit the steering wheel in a roll, the next thing I know pain shoots up my leg and I try to place my hands around my head.
It’s hard to breathe when finally the car comes to a stop and I’m laying on something hard. I try to keep my eyes open and lift my head but I have no strength left, my vision spins and I can’t seem to focus when I try to look.
The smell of blood lies heavy around me and I feel a warm liquid run down my cheeks, trying to move my fingers and get them to my head but nothing happens.
“Aliza?” I hear strained voice but my tongue I swollen and I feel

my body. I try to fight the darkness but it slowly sucks me under.
I hear Liz say something from a distance before there is a movement by my leg. I feel someone touch me
and try to stay focused.
“Fuck Aliza! Stay with me” I hear Liz say like she is in a can and talking to me, it’s only echoing around in my head but I can’t respond to her.
It’s getting harder to breathe and I can’t take deep breaths, something is wrong with my lungs. My right eye closes even how hard I’m trying to keep it open.
“Aliza I need to get you out of here, hang on” I hear her say before some rustling noises, I feel a hand on my leg and that’s when pain courses through my body and it becomes too much. Darkness takes its grip on me and I can’t fight it any longer.
I don’t know how long I have been unconscious when I wake up again, trying to open my eyes I manage to get one open and see it’s almost dark all around me except some faint light from a distance. I have no idea where I am or how I got out of the car but I’m not in there any longer.
My head is pounding hard and I start to feel nauseous and at the same time I still have a hard time taking deep breaths. I just can’t do it.

She is moving slowly and has a limp on her foot, it looks like she has blood all over her but I’m not sure. She comes closer until she takes a seat beside me, her hand comes to my cheek when she tries to move my head a bit to the side,
“You don’t look too good, you have to fight this Aliza! I have tried to find my phone but it’s in the wrecked car so I can’t reach Chase. I have tried to mind link him but we are too far away” she says when I try to form any words in my mouth but my tongue is too swollen.
“Don’t exhaust yourself! I need you to try and hang on Aliza! You can’t quit on us” she says and I hear how worried she sounds in her voice.
“Listen to me, when we got hit we rolled down a steep slope and we are on the bottom right now. I have been up to the road and the car that hit us is gone, no one is around and the cars up there are still empty. I have almost healed so I can shift and get some help” she says and by hearing all this I know it’s Bill who is behind all this and he is probably waiting and watching somewhere to end my life.
“You are badly hurt Aliza, I need to get in reach so I can mind link Chase or find anyone to come here and help. I will be right back but you have to promise me to fight and not give up while I’m getting help” she says. I know the moment she leaves he will probably come here and finish me off like he has started, or his men will grab Liz first even before she gets a chance to get help.
Trying to move my hand or speak up to have her watch out for anyone hiding and following her but I can’t move a muscle. I’m dead weight

“I will be right back with help, hang on Aliza,” Liz says before I see her stand up and take two steps to the side. She starts to take off her clothes and I see her examine a big cut in her leg but by the look of it, she is almost healed.
Bones snaps and I look at her when she shifts to her wolf in front of me. She looks right at me before she suddenly takes off fast. I hear her run for a short moment before she is gone from here, I lay and listen for any sound they have caught her.
When it doesn’t come and I don’t hear anything alarming I hope she manages to get away. I don’t want her to get in any more trouble because of me.
I’m alone here and starting to feel really tired, this sort of exhaustion I have never felt before and I have to close my eyes for a moment.
Trying to focus on breathing in and out while a cold feeling starts to wash over me, wiggling my fingers I try to move my hand but nothing happens.
I hear some movement to my side and open my eyes to look that way, I don’t see anything and seconds go by when slowly a blurry figure comes into my vision.
The closer the figure comes the faster my heart starts to beat, I know

before my eyes can take in who it is, that’s not Liz and no one from his pack. That’s him!
I knew he was behind all this and I didn’t expect anything else than for him to finish off what he have come here to do.
He walks closer and the closer he gets my vision becomes clear, until his feet come to stop beside me on the ground.
“Well, well. What do we have here!” he laughs a wicked laugh and it sends a chill down my spine. I know it’s no point in trying to move away from here or speak, nothing is going to happen and I just turn my head back to look right up in the sky.
