Chapter 43
Aliza pov
It has been three days since I left him standing at the field while I walked away, I haven’t been back to my house since.
It’s easy for me to stay in the flat since I have a room ready for me and Noah with everything we need, and he loves to stay here and play with his friends.
“I’m taking the kids to kindergarten!” Heidi says when we are done eating breakfast.
“Fine by me!” I say and get up to take our plates away while I hear my phone beeping again. I know it’s from Darian and I have been blocking his number but he keeps changing the number and texting me from a different one. The texts are the same, he wants to talk but what is there
to talk about?
“Are you going to answer his call or text soon? I’m getting tired of him calling your phone and here every day! You can’t ignore him forever!” Heidi says when she walks over to me in the kitchen.
“No, I’m not going to talk to him! He can’t just force his way on me because he wants it!” I say and place our plates down in the dishwasher.

“And you two can’t keep going this way forever!” she says and I know
it too.
“I honestly don’t see a way out of this! I’m not going to tell him I don’t have a wolf anymore and he keeps saying I have to let my walls down to my wolf!” I say and place the last mugs down before closing them and turning around to look at her.
“I’m not saying you should but he has no idea how badly he has hurt you as long you keep the truth a secret from him!” she says when Liz comes walking into the kitchen.
“I don’t think he deserves to know the truth! Because of him she lost her wolf and has to live like a human! I would never forgive him” Liz says when she places a plate down on the counter and turns to look at
- us.
“I only know you will not get rid of him by not answering your phone!” Heidi says and I know it too but I’m trying to figure this whole mess
out.
“Well, I have work that needs to get done! I’m way behind and if I’m not getting it done today I will be missing deadlines. So I’ll be inside my office until my customer comes in for her appointment!” I say and start to walk out of the kitchen
“I’ll come inside later with dinner for you!” Heidi says when I’m about to walk out.
“That will be perfect!” I say and push the door and walk out of the

kitchen and head over to Noah where he is sitting by the table and looking at the tablet with Liz’s son.
“Noah! Heidi will get you to kindergarten and think we should stay here tonight as well!” I tell him when he raises his head and looks at
me
“But what if the dog is at home and waiting for us?” he says and I sigh, he has asked about him several times and I have answered him the
same.
“I’m sure the dog is fine and with his owner and will probably by
come once in a while! I will see you later” I tell him and caress his head before I turn around and start to head for my office.
Walking inside I head right over to my office desk and turn on my computer while I place my phone down on my desk when the screen lights up. Looking at it while I wait for my computer to get ready I see a message from a new number and I don’t need him to say it’s from him to already know it.
The message says the same. He wants to talk but I have nothing to say at the moment. Placing my phone down I log into my computer once it’s ready and start with my work.
Several hours go by before Heidi comes I’m with a tray of food and lifting my head and look at the watch I see it’s already past lunch and only two hours left before one of my regular customers is booked for a
massage.
I always have her two times in a month and today is no exception.

Usually, I like to go and have a customer from time to time but today I’m way behind on my schedule and don’t feel like I have the time for it.
“Here eat!” Heidi says and places the tray down on my desk in front of
- me.
“Thank you! I will!” I say when she rushes out of my office without saying anything else and I guess she is in a hurry.
Eating my food while I’m typing on my computer and getting the last numbers in I will have to stay late tonight and finish this up. I know Noah can stay with the others in the apartment before I’m done.
Placing the tray to the side once I’m done and place my papers in front of me again and continue with my work for a few hours more before there is a knock on my door and Liz comes walking inside.
She has a suspicious expression on her face when she comes inside and takes a seat in front of my desk. Turning my head and looking at the watch I see my customer will arrive soon for her massage if she isn’t already here.
“What is it?” I ask Liz while turning my head and looking at her.
“Well, let’s just say there is a change in your schedule today!” she says and giggles while I place my papers to the side and turn off my computer before looking at her.
“What change?” I ask her. My customer always comes to her appointment and has for years without missing a single one.

“Let’s just say she got an offer she couldn’t resist!” Liz says and now I don’t understand a thing.
“I don’t get what you’re trying to say!” I state and keep my eyes on her while I see she has a hard time containing her laughter.
“Well, your customer came in here just minutes ago and wanted to reschedule to another time, but someone else is coming to her appointment!” she says and I get a bad feeling about this. I don’t say anything when Liz continues.
“She got offered a large sum of money and couldn’t resist it so the other person bought her appointment from her!” she says and laughs when I already know who it is. I feel frustrated and angry that he even forces his way into my work and comes here like he has every right!
Leaning back in my seat and looking up at the ceiling I have to think of something. Liz laughs out loud and I try to come up with something fast when I turn my head and look at her before placing my elbow on my desk and resting my chin in my hand.
It takes me a moment before I got the best plan figured out and a smirk is spread to my lips, I will show him what he gets if he comes here!
“Oh, I like the look on your face! What are we up to?” Liz says and looks enthusiastically at me.
