Aliza pov
I got home and spend the rest of the time with my son until it was time for him to go to bed. After his bath I tuck him in his bed and read a bedtime story until he fell asleep, my mind is a mess but I tried for the longest time to hold it together and focus on my son.
Once he where asleep I closed the door to his room and headed over to my bedroom and get out of my clothes, I needed a warm shower, and once I where inside the hot shower I broke apart.
Everything I have feared during all these years came tumbling down at once and my tears flooded down my cheeks at the same speed the water run over my face.
How can I have been mated to him again?
I could possibly have given another mate a chance but him I want nothing to do with, all the pain I have survived and moved on from only to find myself mated to him once more. I just can’t!
have no idea for how long I have been standing inside the shower and letting the warm water wash over me before I pull myself together and wash up before getting out.
There is no point in standing here any longer!
Getting dressed in some comfortable pants and a nice warm cardigan I dry my hair before walking out of my bathroom and heading down to the kitchen.

This little house has two floors and our bedrooms are on the second one, the kitchen and living room are on the first floor and I have a large porch on two sides of this house. I used to sit outside and watch the sun go down, many times I stay outside under a blanket and read a book until late at night. I love how quiet it is and I feel a connection to the forest when I’m sitting out there.
Pouring myself a large cup of tea in the kitchen before I take my
blanket and my book to the front porch, the sun is about to go down and tonight I can’t relax anyway. I have a feeling he will find me here if not tonight then it won’t take long before he does!
Pushing the door open I walk out and take a seat in my hammock, this is one of my favorite places to be at.
Sipping on my tea I look out on the forest and let my mind wander away for a bit, this day has been a mess and I try to prepare myself for the battle I know is going to come with Darian.
I have been sitting on my porch for a very long time and my cup has been empty beside me, I hadn’t any energy left to go inside and make myself a new one and my mind has been wandering away with me since I took a seat here.
It’s dark outside and the only light is from the moon and my lights. around the house, I have some small lamps by the end of my lawn but that is all.
Everything is completely silent when I hear some rustling to my right, turning my head that way I don’t need my wolf’s senses to know he has found me.
“I know you are here!” I say right out. I wait and listen for any sound when my heart takes some extra beats, I knew he would come! Had a strong feeling about it.

Hearing a twig snap I turn my head that way and get up on my feet when I see his wolf’s eyes looking at me from the tree line. His big massive black wolf is gorgeous and I can’t take my eyes off him when he starts to walk closer before he walks over to a bush and I hear bones snap before Darian steps out of the bush and stands right at my lawn.
He is dressed in only a pair of low–hanging shorts and his body is all on display for me to see. The young man I once met and spend a night with has changed into this gorgeous man in front of me, he is big and bulky and with defined muscles over his whole body.
Trying to avert my eyes when I see him take long strides over to my house, I start to walk toward the stairs and slowly make my way down. This is the calm before the storm and once I reach the bottom of the stairs I see some headlights coming this way on the road before the car stops a bit away.
I already know it is his car and his men that are waiting inside.
Feeling his presence right beside me when I slowly turn my head to look at him. He has moved closer and is standing only inches away from me, I can practically feel his warmth radiate out of him.
I remember the feeling of never being cold when I had my wolf, but since the day she disappeared, I have been cold all the time.
“Why are you here?” I say to him when I tilt my head up to meet his eyes. He looks at me for the longest moment before he speaks up.
“Why haven’t you told me I have a son? Don’t you think I at least deserve to know I have fathered a child!” he says and I snort at his words.
“Let me remind you what you obviously have forgotten!” I say and look angry at him.

“Don’t you ever contact me again or set your foot on my pack lands or I will kill you! Remember?” I spit his words back at him and place my hands on my hips.
“I don’t know about you but for me, it’s not worth dying for to tell the man that rejected me without giving me a chance to explain myself that he fathered a child! Do you really think I would ever contact you again after that!” I continue when I see him only looking at me without saying a word. All my anger starts to bubble up to the surface
“You have nothing to gain by coming here! I will not give you my son and I will never accept you as my second chance mate!” I say in anger while he is completely quiet and only keeps his eyes on me, he only infuriates me more by being quiet.
“Now crawl back to the hole you came from and let me live my life in peace!” I shout at him when I can’t contain my anger and take my finger to poke him in his chest.
He grabs my hand before I get a chance to touch him and pulls me close to him with such force I stumble forward and end up bouncing my body against his.
“Let me go!” I say and try to get out of his grip when he places my palm flat against his chest. I feel some small tingles under my palm for a second before it’s gone again.
“No!” he says and pulls me flat against him, my anger skyrockets. What right does he think he has to grab me this way?
“What do you think you are doing, let me go or!” I say and struggle to get loose when he leans down to take a sniff on my shoulder. That was the last straw!
“I Aliza Ev…!” I get to say when his hand is over my mouth to stop me from continuing.
