Chapter 21
Aliza pov
Walking over to the reception desk I hear the phone ringing and quicken my steps to reach out in time before they hang up.
Occupied with the phone call when Heidi comes walking over to me and hands me a note, I hang up the phone when I’m done and look at what she has written down.
“Will this be enough?” I ask her when I see the small amount she has written.
“I sure hope so! The last extra booking came just now and we have to try to fix the extra seatings” she says and sighs, with the number of people who are coming extra today I know we will be needing more waiters as well and our children need to be fetched from kindergarten right before the big amount of customers are arriving to the restaurant. Today I would need to clone myself three times to be able and handle all that needs to be done.
“I will fix this and get more waiters here before I start setting up more seats, focus on getting everything done in the kitchen!” I say when she is quick to turn around and head back to the restaurant.
I start to call more people down from the apartment, we have four girls living up there and two of them work here as

well. One of them will have her own child any day now and she helps by fetching our children and help to look after them if we have to work over, the last girl up there just gave birth and need to have her time to adjust to everything.
“What’s the panic?” Liz says from behind me when I hang up the phone and two of the girls are on their way down to help in the restaurant!
“There is a bit of a crisis in the restaurant today and I have to go to the store and get some ingredients and help set more tables!” I say and turn towards her, I know she is fully booked and can’t stay in the reception when the other girl that just gave birth comes walking in with her baby in a stroller.
“I can help answer the phone, he’s asleep and will probably sleep for the next hours!” she says and I turn to look at her when she walks over to where we are.
“Are you sure you are up for it?” I ask her when she parks the stroller beside the desk.

the good meat we need.
Unlocking the car I get inside and start to drive from there in a rush, I need to be on the other side and back before
everyone is in the traffic to go home from their work or to get their kids.
Speeding down the road I try to not go too fast when I drive through the city, turning around a corner I see the men from before leaning against a black limousine and talking.
It bugs me that I can place where I have met them before, I know they are wolves on how their body is built and we have several wolves visiting the city from time to time.
It has happened that they have come to the restaurant for dinner but I’m sure they have never been there before!
I try the whole way to the store to figure out where I have met them but even his hard I try I just can’t figure it out.
Parking the car outside the store I’m quick to get inside and head over to the disk, the man behind the counter is our only meat delivery and we get everything from him since his meat has the best standards even if it’s more expensive than what anyone else despite him being kind and giving us a good discount.
“Hey wasn’t the meat enough?” he says and I know we just got a delivery from him yesterday.
“We got more customers than we had planned for! Do you have more?” I ask him and hand him the note from Heidi, I

know it’s best if he reads it himself.
“I got some more in the back if you just can give me a moment then I can have it prepared for you!” he says before he turns around to head over to the back.
I walk over to the window and look outside while I wait, it’s a beautiful day and once I get home I will enjoy my coffee on the porch when I have put Noah to sleep.
Seeing a black limousine drive by outside on the road I get a strange feeling about it, I can’t explain why and as fast as it comes it has gone away again.
“Here! It’s all done!” I hear the shop owner say from behind
and I turn around to pay for the meat.
“Thank you!” I say when I have paid and am done in the store, today I don’t have much time to stay here and chat even if he is a nice man to talk to.
The way back to the restaurant takes a bit longer than when I drove there, rushing it to Heidi with the meat I get over to check on the reception desk on the spa and make sure everything is handled before I grab a waitress and start to set up more tables.
It takes longer to get everything set and I still have managed to iron the last tablecloth for the tables when I -look at the clock and see it’s time for our children to be
fetched from kindergarten.
Leaving what I have in my hands before walking out to the reception desk and have her call to the apartment and ask

Seeing her being on the phone I wait until she is done.
“Can you call the apartment and see if she can get our kids home? If there is any problem I’m in the restaurant!” I tell her when she gives me a nod and takes up the phone to call her.
I can’t wait for the answer and hurry back to get the last done if she can’t get them I have to involve someone else to set this up and I know everyone else I occupied right now.
She comes and tells me they will be fetched and I hurry to get the tables done when customers start to arrive, when I place the last napkin on the plate and made sure every glass and cutlery are stained free I leave the table and walk over to the talk with the waiter behind the reception desk.
“Everything is done and I will be heading home if you got it all sorted!” I tell her when she gives me a nod it’s alright and I turn to walk away when the men from before reaching the door from outside.
I don’t wait and look at them anymore it doesn’t help, I can’t seem to place them anyway!
Walking over to the restaurant and heading for the other reception desk when I see her talking on the phone, I’m quick over to my office and get my bag since I know my son will come through the door any minute now.
Walking back I’m about to head for the door when I hear

heavy footsteps coming from the restaurant and I place a paper on the desk. I’m about to start and walk away when I hear a dark voice boom out I never thought I would hear again in my life!
“Stop!” he says and I close my eyes and say a silent prayer
