Aliza pov
It was three months ago when I found out that day I where expecting a child, since that day I have been focusing on doing my job and buying all the necessary things I need for a baby and keeping away from the restaurant I saw his father went in to.
Véra and Martin have been the best supporters and they were thrilled about a child coming to their home!
I don’t know where I would have been without their help and support.
“Aliza, can you come here?” I hear Martin call out to me when I place the cleaning supplies back in the closet and close the door.
Feeling a kick in my womb I place my hand over it and feel the baby kick me once more, a smile is spread to my lips and I can’t describe the love I feel for this little bean I’m
expecting.
The doctor thinks I have only a few weeks left before this child will be born and I’m looking forward to having it out

even if I have an easy pregnancy, but the sleepless nights with all the kicking start to take a toll on me.
The last time I was on the ultrasound she told me she could easily see what I’m expecting but I want it to be a surprise. Mabie it would be easier to know when I buy the baby clothes but for me, I’m looking forward to the day the child will arrive.
I have talked to Martin and Vera about baby names and I like their favorite names, I haven’t told them yet that I plan on using their names for this child.
I know they tried hard to get their own child but since they couldn’t I think this will be perfect, they will be a part of this child even if they aren’t with us anymore.
Walking over to the kitchen I see both Martin and Vera sitting on a chair with their lawyer I have met a few times before.
“What did you want?” I ask them and see them all turn their heads my way.
“Can you take a seat?” Martin asks when I walk over to the table and take a seat at the edge. Looking between them I’m puzzled why they need me here.

die we want you to have a secure future and that’s why we want to testament all our belonging to you and your child!” Martin says and I feel how tears start to p**ck behind my eyelids, why would they do such a thing to a person they don’t have any blood bond to?
“Why would you do that?” I ask and feel how a tear slip down my cheek when Vera takes my hand in hers.
“Because you are the child we never had and we want to make sure you will make it once we aren’t here!” she says and I try to hold my big waterfall at bay.
“But there is something we have to do to make sure none of our relatives comes in the way! None of them deserves anything from us!” he says and I don’t understand what he means when the lawyer places a paper in front of me on the table. Looking at it my tears break through and run down my cheeks in steady streams.
“You want to adopt me!” I say in a s*b and look at the papers again, I can’t believe what I’m reading.
“Yes we want and that’s the best way for you to get everything without anyone interviewing. You don’t have to take our last name if you don’t want!” Martin says when I get up on my feet and walk over to them and wrap my arms around them from the back.

“I would love to take your name and be your daughter!” I tell them and it has nothing to do with the testament, I haven’t felt like a family since I was a child and my last name comes from my mother. She is the one who where the Alpha to the pack but my father took the position when they mated, she never wanted it but her last name he took when they got married. I don’t even know what his name was before and I would love to get rid of her name, I want nothing to do with my mother after her betrayal.
“Since you are an adult you can sign the papers alone and it will only be registered with us!” the lawyer says and Net go of them and walk back to my seat.
Looking at the paper I feel overwhelmed and hardly know what to do when the lawyer hands me a pen, looking at it I take the pen and get back to the papers in front of me. If I sign this it’s like a fresh start and I can get rid of a big part of my past, I will no longer have anything from my mother and this will be my new beginning.
“Sign the papers here and here!” the lawyer says and point to the paper. I look at it when I for the last time write down my signature as Aliza Grey.
When I’m done I hand him the paper and he starts to turn some papers in front of him before he places them on the table for me to read.
“Here is the will, you can look at it and sign the papers at

the bottom!” he says and by looking at it they testament everything they have to me once they die. I have to wipe my tears repeatedly before I lift my head to look at him.
“What name should I sign this with?” I ask him since I’m taking theirs.
“I’m going to register this paper first so you can sign it with their name and I will get you the documents in a few days so you have your new legal name!” he says and point to the paper where I have to sign my name.
“Wait a bit!” I say and get up from my chair and get myself a paper I can try to write my new name a few times before I sign the papers, want it to look like my signature before.
Trying a few times before I get back to the contract and sign the papers everywhere I need to do it.
When I’m done I hand it over to the lawyer and wait for him to go through them before he turns his attention back to
me.
