Sitting on the forest floor and trying to wait out the pain in my stomach. I had to turn back toward my house when the pain got too much and I have been walking from time to time.
I can’t believe how unlucky I have been today, I don’t know any worse time for the heat to come. And this is just another thing I don’t understand, how can I go into heat without my wolf, and on top of it this quick since I marked him? Everything about this is frustrating and all I want is some answers.
Nothing about it makes sense again to me, but yet here I am with a pain that has me on my knees when it course through my body from
time to time.
And it just keeps getting worse by each time it hits me.
Looking up at the treetops I breathe out when the pain slowly subsides in my body, if I’m lucky I get to walk further than ten steps before it begins again with a heatwave before the pain comes.
Right now it somehow feels like the calm before the storm and I know he probably has found out by now I’m not on his pack grounds any longer.

Sighing I have to get up and try to make it home to my house at least, taking a cold shower might ease the pain and I will have to figure something out after. Maybe if I’m lucky Liz will talk to Frederic and know where I am.
Pushing off the ground I pull myself up on my feet and turn to look down the road. I’m not sure for how long I ran and walked before I turned around and now I’m just a bit away from my house.
Starting to take a few steps ahead I suddenly hear a wolf howling and I stop on my spot. I can’t be that unlucky, can I?
Listening for any sounds of running I hate not having my wolf hearing or being able to smell from a distance if anyone is approaching. I’m not able to detect anyone before it’s too late and right now it could be devastating if the wrong wolf gets a whiff of me being in heat.
I almost don’t dare to breathe when I hear a howling again but it hasn’t come closer and I have to hurry back to my house. At least I might be able to hide in there and escape.
Starting to move forward I try to quicken my steps as fast I can and manage to get a far bit ahead when I suddenly hear a car moving closer on the road.
I’m just behind the treeline and quickly get behind a large tree to wait and see who’s on the road.
The closer the car comes the faster my heart starts to beat and slowly pain starts to course through my body again.

Grabbing hold of the tree I have to dig my nails into the bark to prevent me from falling to the ground. Biting myself in the lip, I can’t afford to make any sound to alert anyone I’m here.
Holding an eye on the road I hear the car coming closer when suddenly
Liz’s car comes speeding down the road and I take a big breath in relief, she knows I’m here!
Trying to let go of the tree, my legs won’t carry me and I have to stay still and wait the pain out. I need to let her know I’m here.
“This just can’t happen!” I say in my head and course when I can’t get out on the road and try to stop her!
Hearing the car speed past me where I am I try to just breathe through the pain and hope it won’t last long so I can get out on the road if she doesn’t find me and turn back.
When the pain slowly starts to subside I don’t wait and let go of the tree and walk out from the forest and aim for the road.
