Aliza pov
I look at the closed door for a long moment when I hear Liz talk to me from the side.
“Are you done? I’ve got you some breakfast” she says and I turn my head her way when I see her walk over to where I am with a coffee and a bag in her hand.
“We are done. Just need to use a bathroom!” I say and remember I didn’t use one when I got up from the bed. Everything happened so fast this morning and I somehow forgot about it.
“There is one just down here!” she says and points to a door when I walk over there quickly. Doing my business I get over to the sink and wash up before I dry my hands on a paper towel.
As much as I want to get some answers on how it all could happen I know I have to be patient and wait for the doctor to find out what he
can.
Opening the door I walk out into the hallway where Liz stands and waits for me. I don’t see his father around and when she hands me the bag and the coffee I take it from her before we start to walk down the hallway.

“Where did his father go?” I ask her when she walks beside me toward the entrance.
“He is just outside and waiting for us, some guards arrived shortly after we walked out of the room and he has been talking to them this whole time,” she says
We walk closer to the entrance when I grab her arm and stop her from going outside. Seeing through the doors when his father is standing by the cars and talking to several guards.
“Can you tell me what happened? Do you know more about it?” I ask her while keeping an eye outside.
“Chase still hasn’t told me what happened and who they are that attacked this pack or why. The only thing I got from it where the different smells. Some were rogues but several of them came from different packs!” she says and it’s a big surprise to me that other packs were in on this as well.
“I don’t get it! Why won’t they tell us what’s going on?” I ask her and I turn my head to see her shrug her shoulders in response.
“I tried to ask Chase several times last night after the fight where over but he only said they don’t know enough yet,” she says and I get a frown on my face.
“But Bill was in on this, is the rest from my old pack behind this as well, or just him?” I say out loud when she gives me a poke in the side and I turn my head toward the door again and see his father comes

That’s the sign to stop talking about this and save it until we are alone again. Sipping on my coffee I start to head for the doors when he stands there and holds it up for me.
“Where is Noah?” I ask him when I walk past and Liz is right behind
- me.
“Well, Chase got my son here as well last night and they both are with Darian’s parents” Liz is quick to answer behind my back.
“Yes, they are well taken care of until this settles down!” his father says and I know they both probably have a great time over there.
“Darian wants you to go by his office on the way home!” his father says and I look at Liz across the other side of the car.
“I’ll take her, I’ve got time before I’m heading home to get some clothes for us!” she says and I feel relieved when I get inside the car and close the door after me.
Even if I’m not up to talking to him at the moment since this morning, I’m happy for some time to talk on the way over there alone with Liz.
“Eat your breakfast, it will feel better after!” Liz says when she has closed her door and started the car. Opening the bag I see a sandwich inside and my stomach instantly starts to rumble when I take a large bite on it.
