Chapter 29: Make a fortune
Asteria was feeling emotional when she looked up and found that the little guy had already woken. up. She put down her computer and approached him.
“Xenon, you’re awake. Do you want some milk?” Asteria raised the half–empty carton of children’s chocolate milk in her hand and enthusiastically pitched it to him.
Now that Xenon’s condition had improved, he could eat solid food. However, Asteria was still unsure of his preferences, so she relied on daily trial and error by offering different foods and observing his eating habits.
It was quite a task.
Xenon glanced at the drink in her hand and then turned his head away, closing his eyes with clear disdain.
He was outright disgusted.
“How about I heat up a cup of regular milk for you, like adults drink?” Asteria suggested.
Upon hearing this, Xenon opened his eyes again and nodded.
Hm, it seemed like this little guy didn’t fancy kiddie stuff; he preferred what adults liked. Asteria felt like she had found a way to connect with him.
She quickly went to heat up a cup of regular milk for him and returned to the hospital room to feed it

After drinking the milk, Xenon looked at Asteria as if he wanted to say something but was trying hard. to hold it back, visibly feeling uncomfortable.
Asteria asked him, but he remained silent, just looking at her phone.
Realizing his intention, in order to find out what her precious son wanted to say, she unlocked her phone and placed it in his small hand.
Xenon glanced at Asteria, then at the phone in his hand, showing some interest. With his nimble little fingers, he tapped on the screen a few times and then handed the phone back to Asteria.
Taking the phone, Asteria thought he had typed something, but as soon as she opened the screen, she was almost stunned.
The phone screen was adjusted to yesterday’s stock market interface, and at this very moment, the four hundred million dollars from yesterday had tripled.
1.2 billion dollars?
She had already mentally prepared for losing the initial four hundred million, and when Alex made the purchase, she didn’t even bother to check.
But now, had she become super rich overnight?

Alex hurriedly arrived and called Asteria out of the hospital room.
“Miss Gu, as you expected, the Rhyner family’s funding chain has been cut off.”

“Who is it? Who dares to grab this young master? Calyx was taken by surprise, and the spilled milk made him quite upset.
He was turned around by the person holding him before he finally saw their face.
A middle–aged woman, well–preserved but with a sharp and unpleasant appearance. She didn’t look like a good person.

“Alright, as long as you obediently find it and give it to Grandma, I’ll buy you some candy to eat.” Jenica didn’t expect this brat not to cry or make a fuss; he even thought she came to see him. She thought he was easily fooled, and maybe he had become stupid from falling off the cliff.
After being successfully let down, Calyx’s head was still a little sore. He rubbed it with his small hand. and then walked out of the room with his short legs, with Jenica closely following.
At this moment, the butler, Uncle Aldo, was bringing freshly baked egg tarts to him. He called from afar, “Young Master, the egg tarts you wanted are ready, chocolate flavor!”
“Uncle Butler…” Calyx looked at the butler walking towards him, tilted his body, and fainted on the
spot.
This frightened Uncle Aldo!
He dropped the egg tarts and quickly ran over to him, shouting, “Young Master, Young Master, what happened? Someone, call Dr. Roberts over and notify the Master!”

“Madam Rhyner, our Young Master is sick, and the house is in chaos. Please leave.” The butler’s attitude was not at all polite, as he picked up Calyx and rushed to the third floor.
Although he had no evidence, it was clear that right before Madam Rhyner arrived, their Young Master was perfectly fine, eating and watching TV. Yet, the moment Madam Rhyner came upstairs, within just a few minutes, their Young Master fell ill. This made the butler suspicious.
The butler was an old servant of the family and had seen all kinds of intrigues and schemes. He had watched the Young Master grow up and knew that he had suffered since childhood. Now that he could finally speak, it was distressing to see him fall ill again.
Feeling ignored by the butler, Jenica harbored resentment. However, seeing the butler’s suspicion and the chaotic situation, she decided that it was not the right time to stay any longer.
“Never mind, I’ll come back later to ask Xylon for help!”
Jenica thought to herself as she hurriedly made her way outside, only to come face to face with Xylon, who was returning with a large group of people.
