Isabella’s pov
“Slow poke.” Alexander taunted Blake as he punched him across the face. The blow sent the man flying and he landed on the floor close to one of the pillars.
Blake grinned a knowing grin when he finally stood up and Alexander responded with a confused look. He landed a punch on Alexander just then and grinned.
“Who’s the ‘slow one now?”
“You!” Alexander said and gave Blake an uppercut punch in the gut.
Blake fell to the ground and Alexander grinned wide “You really think that little trick would have gotten me?”
Blake rolled his eyes and in one swoop stood up again. without any warning, he ran head first towards Alexander and head–butted him in the stomach. The action sent Alexander to the floor.
“Nice, now this is getting interesting.” Alexander said as he pulled himself up.
They had both been sparing for over an hour now, only stopping to get some water to drink. I on the other was there to Ogle Alexander. Last night had been great, He had worn me out and made me Climax till I begged him to stop and here I was watching him again today waiting for when he was done to get some action before he got swept into work.

“What are you doing?” I asked Mason.
He glanced over at me and said “Just logistics related issues with the pack.” He immediately went back to writing.
“Ah. Can I help?”
“Not really, it’s just some work I should have finished but was to busy to.”
“What else were you so busy with?”
“I had some… things to take care of.”
“Things?” it was unlike Mason to be mysterious with me, something
was up.
“Yes, things.” He said without looking at me.
“Mason… are you seeing someone?” I asked out of the blue.
“Where the hell did you get that from?”
“Well, I’ve not been seeing you regularly.”
“Because I’m off working and you literally saw me a days ago.”
“Yes but that was because you had a meeting with Alexander.”
He rolled his eyes at me and went back to his work.
“so you are not seeing anyone?”
He heaved a sigh, straightened and glanced back at me.

“You’re not exactly denying it.” I pointed out.
“What’s going on here?” Alexander appeared in front of me, wiping his face with a towel.
“Mason here, is seeing someone.” I pointed at him.
“Ignore her, she doesn’t know what’s she is talking about.” He said flatly.
“I’m telling you, he does and he hasn’t denied the accusation even once.”
Alexander chuckled at my argument. He took a drink from his water bottle.
“If you are seeing someone Mason, just tell us.” Blake said as he came up from behind.
Mason rolled his eyes and got up and started to walk away.
“keeping secrets now are we?” Blake shouted after him and he flipped him the bird
“How do you know he’s seeing someone?” Blake asked.
“I don’t. It’s just a haunch.” he shook his head as if to say ‘women‘ before stalking off himself.
“You look handsome.”
I said to Alexander as I stood up to hug him.
“I’m sweaty.” He tried to evade.”

“So?” I asked, capturing him into a hug.
He chuckled.
“Wanna get out of here?” I asked him, batting my lashes at him.
He chuckled some more.
“I don’t know what’s gotten into you lately, but I like it.”
He kissed me softly before leading me back to the house and ravishing

“What time are you going to my mom’s?” He asked in his study two hours later.

“Ill get the guards to escort you.” He said then walked up to me, pulled me closer and kissed me a slow, soft and sweet kiss a far cry from the quick session we’d had just a minute ago.
We both ate breakfast and Alexander left to attend to work and I went upstairs to get ready to visit the Luna. It had been a while.
The Luna welcomed me with a big hug when she emerged from her
room.
For someone so intimidating, she could be a big cuddly bear when she wanted to be. She looked fabulous in a green satin blouse and satin slacks.
“I was beginning to think you and your husband had completely forgotten about a poor old woman.” She said as she release me from her embrace.

“Of course not.” I said. “we could never! We’ve just been a little busy with the pack that’s all.”
“Come, have a seat.” She gestured at the couch and I obliged. She called for a maid and told her to get us some drinks.
“Tea, please.” I said to the maid when she turned to ask what I wanted.
She nodded and left to get the drinks.
“No alcohol this time?” The Luna asked, coy smile playing on her lips immediately we were alone.”
I gave a sheepish smile.
“Well…” I started to defend but she interrupted
“I’m just kidding.” She waved me off. “So, to what do I owe this visit and I see Alexander didn’t come with you even after I told him how lonely this house gets sometimes.”
“He had to work and attend to pack business but I promise the next I come visiting, I’ll drag him with me.
“Good, you know that men are not very smart and often need us to guide them. We are their pillars and without us, they’d be mostly lost.”
I nodded, digesting her words.
“Which reminds me, I am yet to receive my invitations to one of those girls nights you girls always throw.”
“Actually, that’s one of the reasons I came, I am thinking of hosting a party for the pack.”
“Oh, your first pack party, sounds fun.” The Luna clapped, I chuckled

at her excitement. She was like her son in many ways, intimidating at first but when you get closer to them, you quickly realize how easily excited they get about things and it’s the cutest thing.
“Yeah, I was hoping you could give me some pointers.”
“Oh, really?” The woman looked and sounded both excited and a little surprised about me asking her for help. something told me it had been a while since someone asked her a question pertaining to the best way to organize a party.
“Well, first thing you need to know there should be a loot of food and booze.” She said and I burst out in a fit of laughter.
“I’m serious. There can not be a shortage of neither, you don’t want to be
seen as a selfish Luna, do you?”
I shook my head.
The Luna gave me some more pointers on what to do and on what not to do and I took notes.
“I can’t wait to see what you make of your first pack party.” She squealed excitedly.
“Me too.” I said. I was enjoying her presence with every minute that passed.
It was four hours later before I was ready to leave. The Luna gave me a few snacks to take home and I thanked her.
Being with her was as refreshing and eye opening as ever. Just like her son, she was full of surprises.
I got to the mansion and Lunch was waiting for me, so was Lisa.
“Welcome back Luna.” The maid said.

“I know that look, did I forget about a meeting I was supposed to go for today?”
“Not at all and I’m not giving you any looks Luna.” Lisa smiled.
“Right… Have you seen the Alpha?” I asked her.
“He should be in a meeting.”

I went upstairs to FaceTime Chloe. She picked up after the second phone call. She was holding baby Xekey and he was crying.

The baby stopped crying immediately he stared at the screen. He blinked, probably confused at the tiny human talking inside the small
screen.
He sucked on his lips, still staring at the screen, he glanced at his mama and glanced back at me.
“Aww, that’s right. I’m your Aunty and that’s your mama.”
“I can’t believe he’s stopped crying, he’s been crying for an hour straight. Had to call a doctor to check on him but she said everything was fine, he just needed attention, I guess you were the attention he was looking for.” Chloe said.
“Aww, he misses his Aunt. You miss me don’t you Xekey?” I said in a baby voice and he giggled. He was so adorable I had half the mind to steal him.

“you haven’t told him, have you?”
“No, I have not.” I said to Chloe. How in the world was I going to break the news to him now?
