Hundred and Eleven
Isabella’s POV
Alexander chuckled deeply, his eyes shining in amusement as he easily caught the pillow with one hand. Kicking off my shoes, I got on the bed and crawled up to him before picking up the pillow and wacking him with it until he surrendered, our laughter filling the room as he finally managed to pry the pillow out of my hands.
“Brutal.” He said and I childishly stuck out my tongue at him.
He pulled me to him and I happily snuggled into his side, placing my hand on his chest. We lay there in comfortable silence for a while and I just focused on the steady rhythm of his heartbeat and breathed in his amazing scent. I stroked his chest softly and absentmindedly while he just stared up at the ceiling. I suddenly wondered if he was thinking about all the things he needed to do. I pouted, I hated to think that I was keeping him away from work because he was just too concerned about keeping me company. That would only make the work pile up and stress him later and I didn’t want that.
“Is there anything I can help with, mate?” I asked, looking up at him. Alexander looked down at me, sitting up a little and pulling me up with him. He looked slightly confused.
“What do you mean?”
A sheepish look crossed my face. “Well, I know that things are a lot more hectic than normal for you these days and I was just
wondering if there was anything I could help with.” I said, drawing circles on his chest.

He shook his head, smiling down at me, “You don’t need to worry about that.” He said. “I promise.” He added when I gave him a look that made him chuckle. Then he suddenly smirked and pulled me closer. “You know, there actually might be something you could help with.” He said and my eyes widened as I looked up at him eagerly.
“What’s that? Tell me!” I pressed and he grabbed my hand and guided it down to rest on what took me a second to realize was his erection.
“Alexander!” I gasped, grabbing my hand back and slapping him on his chest. “You’re not serious. I’m certainly not helping with that.” I said as I tried to get down while he burst into uncontrollable laughter. I barely made it to the foot on the bed when his arm suddenly wrapped around my waist, pulling me back to himself.
He took my chin in his and closed the distance between our lips, instantly getting me to relax into his arms. I kissed him back but before we could go any further, I placed a hand on his chest, separating myself from him.
“Promise you’ll be more accommodating towards Sasha.” I told him and he instantly shook his head. I frowned at him, starting to get up again when he pulled me back with a groan.
“Alright, fine. I will, don’t go.” He said and although I wasn’t completely convinced I relaxed in his arms once more while he leaned down and kissed the pout right off my lips.
He kissed me even deeper when I did not respond the first time and I smiled, my lips parting slightly allowing him to dip his tongue into my mouth. I reached my hand up to his chest for support as the kiss got more intense and I moaned.
“Alexander.” I whispered into the kiss, my voice a breathless moan.

“Hmm?” He replied, pressing a kiss to my neck and forehead before pulling me to his side so that we were laying side by side.
“You’re so hot.” I whispered and he was silent for a moment before coughing out a laugh. I instantly burst out laughing and he joined in. I smacked his chest when I was able to calm down. “Way to spoil the mood!” I said and he just chuckled while I hugged him.
We stayed like that for quite some time and when an hour later he had not moved or made to excuse himself to get back to work, I looked up at him.
“Mate?”
“Yes, baby?”
“Don’t you have work to get back to? Business to handle…” I asked and he was silent for a moment as he processed my words before he pouted.
“Are you chasing me away? Don’t tell me you’re that eager to get rid of me.”
I flicked his arm, “Come on, you know that’s impossible. I would tie you to myself if I could. But seriously though, I don’t want to be responsible for holding you down when you have a lot of work on your plate.”
Alexander shook his head, “It’s really sweet of you to worry about that, but don’t.” He said, pecking my forehead. “I’ll be staying with you for the rest of the day. Pack duties can wait for one day. I just hope you don’t get tired of me.” He said, faking a forlorn look but I just grinned ignoring that.
“Do you really think you can stay the whole day?” I asked happily and he smiled down at me.

“I know I can.” He said and I squealed, a sound that had him throwing back his head in laughter.

“So…” I said, stressing the word. “What do we do for the rest of the day?” I asked him and he looked thoughtful for a moment before getting up and going to the cupboard at the corner and puling out a chessboard.
“This?”
I frowned. “You’re too good at that. You always beat me.” I said and he chuckled putting it back and bringing out the scrabble.
“How about this?” He asked and when I nodded, he instantly brought it over to the bed and I smiled at his enthusiasm. “I’m still gonna beat you.” He said and I smirked at my competitive mate.
“We’ll see.” I shrugged with a mischievous look on my face as I begun setting everything up. I saw the way Alexander’s eyes followed me curiously and I almost burst into laughter at how suspicious his gaze was. We played scrabble for what turned out to be hours. I won countless times and so did Alexander and at some point, we forgot about counting the results and just played, laughing at the odd words we both came up with sometimes and calling each other out when the other produced a non–existent word and kept arguing that it was real. Alexander was the one who started it and after too many times of calling out his bluff, I let him rub off on me and I started to form my own fake words as well.
We eventually got tired of scrabble and just lay down sprawled out on the bed, watching the ceiling while soft music played in the background. I wondered if like me, be sometimes looked at the mural on the sibling and gave lives to the characters. In my own head, one of the girls was a milkmaid who had mistakenly spilled her milk and now she was crying not knowing how to go back to

her employer or explain to the customer. I liked to imagine that she was a girl with big dreams but had to be a milkmaid because it was the only job she could get and she needed the little pay she got from it to survive and yet she was always smiling and singing, of course except from now when she was crying after spilling all her milk.
“Where has your mind gone?” Alexander asked and I grinned.
“Nowhere.”
I said, looking at the window and noticing that the sun had gone down and the sky was slowly darkening. “You really did spend the rest of the day with me.” I said with a smile and Alexander shrugged.
“And it’s not yet over, thankfully. What next? A movie.”
I smile, “I think I’d really like that.”
We turned on the Tv for what seemed to be the first time in this room and we decided on the movie before sending for dinner and going to take a shower together. When we got back out Alexander playfully suggested I put on my lingerie from the night before and I just rolled my eyes at him while he chuckled. We had picked out a romance movie but barely halfway into the movie, we both got bored and Alexander had even begun dozing off.

I shook him awake and told him that we could change the movie; words I would soon wish I could eat back up. Alexander smirked going ahead to put on a horror movie and I’m not ashamed to admit that I clung to him for the entire night. I mean it was thrilling and I kinda enjoyed that but it was also scary as hell and Alexander had no problem laughing in my expense. After the movie I was quite convinced that if I have a daughter, she was never getting any dolls and she has her father to blame for showing me this
