Isabella’s POV
I had always been eager to meet Blake’s mate and the fact that she was a rogue didn’t change that and neither did the fact that she held a knife to my neck he first time we met even though it had given me a little bit of shock but then it really explained that moment when Blake froze after Alexander had told him to make sure she got punished. I can only imagine the amount of things that went through his mind in that second.
But it was easy to put it all behind me and initiate a friendship once Alexander told me that she had decided to forsake being a rogue and join our pack because of Blake. I found it all very cute. She had sadly turned rebellious after her both parents died when she was still very young and her rogue ways were all she knew so it was heart warming that she chose her mate over all that. Like I said, I love love!
“That’s the garden.” I said pointing at the subject of my words. I was walking around the packhouse with Sasha and showing er as much as I could of it. It was funny since even I who has been here everyday for a good number of years doesn’t still know every single room on the grounds and I haven’t been everywhere either. In fact, the garden I just showed her was a recent discovery of mine when Alexander arranged for a picnic date for us beside the fountain.
Sasha stared inside from where we both stood with her eyes wide. “It’s indoors.” She said and I chuckled, looking up at the glass ceiling you could see the sun and sky through.
“It’s a special garden.” Was all I could say. “There are lots more almost as equally beautiful outside as well.” I told her as we moved on, proud of how in awe she seemed of the place.

Maybe it was because I was a little ‘baby obsessed‘ these days due to to Chloe’s pregnancy but one look at Sasha’s exquisite features and I instantly begun to imagine what beautiful babies she would make with Blake. Sasha had golden eyes. Golden! I don’t think I have ever seen such eyes before and I instantly wanted to paint it. Her hair was really curly and really long with the calls reaching down to just above her hips. And her complexion seemed to be permanently tanned. She was altogether a beautiful woman and even if I decided to be mean and deny it, the way Blake looks at her was all the testament that was needed.
“I haven’t been able to properly explore the magnificence of the packhouse all this while either. I’m glad that I have a chance to do this with you.” I told her and she beamed, her dimple on one cheek displaying itself.
“What your step, Luna!” She suddenly said grabbing my arm to steady me when I almost tripped over the edge of a poorly placed rug.
“Thank you, Sasha.” I told her when I had gotten a hold of my balance. I had tried severally to get her to stop calling me Luna but It was no use. She’d say my name once at the minute I corrected her and then go back to calling me Luna again.“You can call me Bella, you know?” I told her and she just smiled saying nothing.
I have tried my best to make Sasha feel comfortable around me and feel at home here but it seems as though she was still a little shy. I could understand that since a lot of things and people were new to her and I could somehow see through that she had a really bubbly personality underneath and she would make the perfect mate for Blake. She has been here for a while and I haven’t been able to show her around since because she came when my parent’s had just been murdered and she had just been cooped up in Blake’s suite ever since.
“So what part of the part of the pack are you from?” I asked her. “North, south, or…” I asked her.
From what Alexander had told me, she had apparently been a part of this
very pack before she turned rogue. That had complicated matters a little but I was grateful that he let her stay for Blake’s sake and I know that the pack would eventually welcome her fully.
“Um, like you already know, I haven’t really lived in the pack since I was really little.” She said, brushing her hair behind her ear, “…after I became a rogue following my parent’s death.” Her eyes suddenly turned
remorseful and I knew what was coming next. “I’m really sorry about the attack, Luna. I feel so ashamed now and for holding a knife to your neck like that.”
I sighed, “I’ve told you before, Sasha. It’s okay, really. You can stop apologizing now. And from what I remember my mate stabbed you in the leg as well.” I said and she dropped her head, playing with her fingers,
“I deserved it.” She said and I just sighed. She had managed to subtly evade my question about where she was from but I waved it off, hoping she is free from her guilt towards the attack soon. I steered us back towards the garden and this time we went in and sat down on one of the benches.
“I can’t wait till you meet Chloe.” I said in my attempt to lift the mood. “She would love you.

Sasha grinned, “I can’t wait to meet her too. She must have a beautiful personality if she’s your best friend.”
I smiled, “She does and I’m going to take that as a compliment.” I said and we both chuckled.
“I’m so tempted to get you to talk about Blake and what sort of person he is with you.” I said.
Initiating a conversation about a girl’s mate could go one of two ways. It could lead to a very interesting conversation that could lead to kinship or it could make her go quiet immediately. I hoped for the former. Sasha had

been with Blake the most since she got here and I was trying to get her to have a conversation with me. What better topic than the person she knew the most.
Luckily for me, she blushed and covered her face with her hands for a second before she began to get into all the tea. All I had to say after thirty minutes was that Blake was so sweet that if I didn’t already have the best mate in the planet, I would be jealous of them. We talked for a while, sharing what we could about our mates and relationship before we delved into hobbies. By then, Sasha was talking animatedly and I was glad I got her to relax.
We were soon disrupted by the arrival of the Alpha and Beta and at the sight of my mate, I grinned getting up from where I sat while he immediately enveloped me in a hug. I hadn’t seen my mate since I woke up that morning and I really missed him. I knew it was work though and when we pulled apart, I frowned sympathetically at the tiredness I noticed in his eyes. Probably sensing where my thoughts were going, he shook his head, brushing my baby hairs back before pressing a kiss on my forehead
“Don’t let all that bother you.” He said before looking over my shoulder and his eyes instantly hardened. I followed his line of sight and noticed that it was trained at Sasha. Sighing, I tugged at his arm until he looked down at me once again.
Stop doing that. I said through the mindlink before turning to face Sasha and Blake with a smile.
“Hi Beta.” I greeted and Blake wrinkled his nose.
“Since when do you address me by my title, Luna.” He said, amused and I just shrugged.
“Get your mate to start calling me Bella and maybe I’ll stop.” I said and Sasha’s eyes widened before they darted to the ground, a blush spreading out on her cheeks.

I grinned, waving them goodbye before linking my arm through my mate’s and leading us out of the garden and to our own room. When we got there and the door was closed behind us, I turned to him with a disapproving frown on my face.
“What was that all about?” I asked him.
Alexander smiled, “I don’t know what you’re talking about,” He said, feigning ignorance and trying to side step me but I moved to his front again.
“Come on Alexander, what exactly is the problem? I saw the way you practically glared at her. Sasha is a sweet lady, please try to forget about the attack. Don’t judge her with that.”
Alexander sighed, going to lay down on the bed. “I’m not judging her.” He sighed while I followed him coming to stand at the foot of the bed.
Alexander shifted, leaning on one arm before winking at me. “Come to daddy.” He said with an overly exaggerated suggestive look and I picked up a pillow and sent it flying straight at him while I doubled over, laughing.
