Knocks on the door sounded. Alison brought food and said, “Sir asked me to bring you bland dishes. Madam has eaten. You don’t have to save food for her.”
Isabelle was confused. When did he give the orders? He was arguing with her along the way.
She took over the food in a bad mood.
Warren stayed in the bathroom for a long while. She wondered what he was doing inside.
When he finally came out, she went in to wash her hands.
