Chapter 218 Despicable
He pinched his eyebrows and thought about everything she had done. for him, his tone softened. “It’s okay. I promise you, I will hold a grand event. I will do it.”
“Warren, you’re so kind!” Amy affectionately rubbed his shoulders.
All the subordinates were present below. Warren suppressed the urge to shrug his shoulders.
His eyes half–closed slightly. He momentarily felt everything around him unfamiliar.
Originally, it was intended to provoke that woman with the engagement, but gradually it became real.
He told himself to restrain his thoughts and take responsibility for Amy for the rest of his life. Besides, he had promised her parents to get engaged.
That foolish idea of divorcing for that woman, which used to pass by in a flash, should never happen again! She doesn’t deserve it.
Suppressing the restlessness in his chest, Warren calmly raised his gaze. “Amy, you go out first. I still have work to handle.”
“Okay, I went to Dracfort Hospital to fix the surgical scar and came back to make lunch for you in the lounge. Let’s eat together,” Amy _said, slightly annoyed.
In the office, only Amy’s voice could be heard, afraid that the other employees outside didn’t know that she was about to become his fiancée.

Sheldon waited silently for Amy to come out, holding the information he had found and walked in.
Warren leaned back in his chair, furrowing his brow. “What’s the matter again?”
“It’s me, Mr. Levine.” These past few days, the entire company has been enduring Warren’s extraordinary anger. Sheldon steadied his mind and walked over.
“You got drunk last night and asked me to check online for the incidents of David’s attack.”
“I found out. David was cunning. The day before yesterday, when Luck Jewelry building was suddenly auctioned off by the shareholders, David first lent money to Ms. Spencer, and then secretly had someone insult him, creating a pitiful image of him being trapped. He set a trap to deceive Ms. Spencer into getting engaged.”
“Mr. Levine, perhaps Ms. Spencer was also unaware of David’s ambition. He truly is a scheming person who steals love!”
Yesterday, Sheldon realized that Warren couldn’t bear to have her child aborted, so when he left, he didn’t say much about the matter either.
Warren hesitated.
Warren misunderstood that Isabelle got engaged after cheating. His hatred reached its peak.
Sheldon thought about making Warren understand that Isabelle might have been played as well. Is there any room for a turnaround?
Warren stared at the documents, his gaze cold. “He dared to plot against me. He may appear to be a gentleman, but in reality, he is a petty person. Unfortunately, that foolish woman believes in him. Why

are you showing me these? I don’t want to be involved in their petty affairs! Perhaps she willingly fell for his tricks just to be with him!”
Sheldon thought Isabelle was not like that.
Warren was furious and had no ounce of rationality towards Isabelle.
Sheldon said, “I feel that Ms. Spencer separating from you is your own business. David taking her away is just not right. Are you willing to accept it?”
Warren’s eyes devoured the scene. He sneered coldly, “I may not want her, but it’s not his turn to snatch her away. Do they still think they can live a good life? Impossible!”
Warren was not willing to accept it. Sheldon breathed a sigh of relief. Warren couldn’t just ‘accept‘ Isabelle like that. It wouldn’t be right.

In Dracfort Hospital.
Glenda wore a nurse uniform and a mask as she lurked in various offices of the nephrology department.
She found all the patient information for the kidney transplant surgeries of that day and, as Bella instructed, investigated the patients‘ information.
There were no mistakes. That day, including Tara, there were a total of five kidney transplant patients. The other four all successfully
underwent surgery.
Bella suspected that Amy had stolen something.
Glenda went to the director’s office to retrieve the data of the day’s kidney origin.

Just as I walked behind the curtain, suddenly someone came in through the door.
The road between enemies is narrow. Amy’s leisurely voice came through. “My scar must be removed to be flawless and pure. It is in such a prominent position on my abdomen. I am about to get engaged, welcoming the most perfect night.”
Glenda held her breath and hid beneath the curtain, gritting her teeth and rolling her eyes.
Amy still fantasized about sleeping with Warren! Shameless bitch.
“Ms. Watson, please rest assured. The scar is very shallow. You can go to the dermatology department and ask for an authoritative expert to use laser treatment. It will take three to five sessions to remove it…”
Glenda recognized the voice of that male doctor. Wasn’t he one of the doctors she had investigated who performed the transplant surgery for Tara?
Olivia coldly reminded the doctor, “Ms. Watson had a kidney
transplant surgery scar. How could it possibly be shallow? Dr. Carrier, – be mindful of your words.”
The doctor looked towards the door and coughed heavily, repeatedly changing his words, “Yes, yes. Ms. Watson indeed donated a kidney, and the wound is not small. I will call the specialist from the department of cosmetic surgery right away.”
Amy glanced at the door. People were listening everywhere.
Her scar was not deep, it was just deliberately made to look fierce,
making Warren believe without a doubt.
She could have gone directly to the beauty department, but she was afraid that Warren might casually ask about acquaintances at the

hospital, so she always comes to the nephrology department.
She didn’t leave any doubt or suspicion, especially about Marin. Amy was afraid he would come to the hospital to investigate!
After the doctor left, Olivia muttered under her breath, “What an idiot. Ms. Watson, you go lie down first.”
Amy then walked towards the curtain.
At this moment, a figure suddenly crashed into the curtain. Glenda pulled up her mask, wanting to rush out of the door.
“Hello, who are you?” Amy’s eyes turned sharp as she noticed someone hiding behind.
“Sorry, I was the nurse in this department. I came to clean the
diagnostic bed. Unfortunately, the director brought you in. I will leave now…” Glenda bluffed.
“Nurse? What’s your name?” Amy scanned her chest and then looked at the woman in front of her. She had long hair, wearing a nurse’s cap, with a petite face and big eyes.
Glenda suddenly broke free from her and ran out!
“Hey, who told you to leave?” Olivia saw Glenda running and felt something was wrong, so she went out to chase after her.
Glenda panicked and ran out from the doorway, only to be abruptly silenced by a slender hand covering her mouth, and instantly dragged into the adjacent room.
The smell of disinfectant filled the air. She was being carried into a cubicle by a tall man, and only then did she suddenly realize that it was the men’s restroom!

She looked up and was even more dumbfounded!
The cold light of the gold–rimmed glasses flickered. Below was a sinister face.
Marin? How is he also here?

Olivia failed to catch up with someone and returned. She saw Amy, who had a bad expression, picking up a medical case from the diagnostic bed.
“Who is this nurse? She was absent–minded.”
Amy squinted her eyes. “She didn’t have a name tag on her chest. She said she came to clean, but she wasn’t wearing gloves. And
coincidentally, this case that fell here is about a kidney transplant patient.”
Amy frowned, thinking about the pair of eyes she saw on the nurse’s mask just now.
Amy always felt somewhat familiar.
A trace of unease crossed Amy’s mind. “Go and fetch Dr, Carrier back,” she said.
