Chapter 181 She Didn’t Leave
The window in the study was open, and a lot of rainwater came in, causing the man to put out his cigarette.
The cigarette went out, and Warren silently dropped it.
Warren’s eyes were filled with an unquenchable anger and an icy stillness.
He stared at the frail figure on the ground, struggling to withstand the heavy rain but refusing to leave, about to collapse.
There was no pavilion next to the carved gate, and there was nowhere to take shelter from the rain.
What did she want to do? Did she want to soften his heart?
Warren stared at her big belly. As soon as he realized that all of this was a scheme, even the child, he became indifferent.
The next second, he abruptly pulled the curtains shut. He sat down in the chair, with a pile of cigarette butts next to him.

Amy looked gloomy. With such heavy rain, Isabelle stood there without leaving, pretending to be pitiful.
Warren must not have slept. He was in the study, perhaps watching Isabelle.
The longer the time passed, the less Isabelle could hold on, and she might eventually soften her heart.

Amy was smart. Tonight, Isabelle said she had falsely signed the divorce papers. If Warren was really heartless, he would have forcefully made Isabelle sign the papers at that time.
She had no resistance.
But Warren didn’t do so.
Isabelle didn’t leave, and he didn’t try to make her leave either. Warren might still want to test if Isabelle’s feelings are genuine.
Amy thought it was dangerous to continue like this. She couldn’t let Warren soften.
Amy’s face stung from the two slaps. Anger flashed through her mind as she coldly dialed the phone, “Correll, in another hour, find a few thugs and abduct Isabelle. Oh, and search her for the medicine she’s carrying and give it to me.”
As long as there was medicine, she could cure Isabelle without being threatened by her.
As for Isabelle, she stayed in the suburbs late at night and might have died.
Warren used to sleep all the time.
Amy waited for the action at three or four in the morning.
Amy’s plan was suddenly interrupted by Maggie!
At 2 o’clock in the morning, Maggie glanced out of the window several times. She couldn’t bring herself to do it. She figured that Warren hadn’t come down at this time because he wouldn’t forgive Isabelle.
Maggie saw Isabelle almost faint. She was getting wet in the rain and the baby inside her belly could be in danger!

After all, this was Tara’s beloved grandson, and Maggie’s heart also cherished the unborn baby.
She put on her clothes, daringly sneaked out, took an umbrella and a few clean clothes. “Ms. Spencer, change your clothes and take the umbrella, hurry up and leave. You can’t argue with Mr. Levine using the child!”
“I won’t leave. If I leave, it means I abandon him. He will be even
angrier.”
“Don’t you understand yet? Mr. Levine won’t forgive you. He’s furious right now, don’t confront him.”
“I won’t leave. Maggie, please let me in secretly, otherwise I will keep standing in the rain until dawn…”
“Why are you so stubborn! If he doesn’t want you, just wait a bit, sigh… I can help you get in, but you can only stay until dawn.”
Maggie was at a loss. Isabelle was trembling all over and feeling a bit feverish. If things continued like this, the child could be in danger.
She quietly led Isabelle into the villa and into her own room.
The servant’s room is located in the backyard on the ground floor, it is small, with only one bed. Maggie asked Isabelle to lie on the heated floor, and immediately went to the bathroom to turn on the hot water
In the pitch–black darkness, Maggie didn’t see the entrance to the second floor. Amy’s room door was open, revealing Amy’s cold gaze.
Isabelle froze stiff, and the sudden warmth made her skin feel like it was being pricked by needles.

It was not until Maggie helped her change clothes and covered her with several blankets that she finally regained some strength.
Maggie looked at her coldly. After a while, Maggie pointed at Isabelle’s belly and said, “You should feel the baby’s movements, don’t put the child in danger.”
“Thank you, Maggie. It was moving vigorously just now, but it should be asleep now.”
“Why do you have to do this? You have let down Mr. Levine, and Ms. Christopher has become a vegetable. You should divorce Mr. Levine!”
“Maggie advised. This would be a relief for both Isabelle and Warren.”
“Maggie, would you believe me if I said I didn’t harm Mom?”
Maggie’s face turned cold, “But your uncle kidnapped Ms. Christopher and pushed me out of the car. I witnessed it with my own eyes.”
Isabelle forced a smile and said, “It’s true that my uncle kidnapped my mother, and it’s true that I didn’t cause my mother to become a vegetable. There were too many misunderstandings between Warren and me.”
She held Maggie’s hand and said, “Was my mother placed in a single house? Please, let me go see her. I want to know how she is doing.”
“Impossible!”
Maggie withdrew her hand and looked at her suspiciously, “Mr. Levine instructed at the hospital to not let you come near his mother’s ward even for a step, don’t make it difficult for me!”
“He was so guarded against me, but little did he know that the person he should truly be wary of is Amy,” Isabelle chuckled bitterly.

So, how could she feel at ease letting Amy and her mother live under the same roof?
“What do you mean by that?” Maggie wondered.
“Maggie, I beg you, please tell Alison from the standalone house. Everyone needs to be careful around Amy, as she was involved in causing our mother to become a vegetable.”
Maggie was startled and suspicious, “It was Ms. Watson who could donate a kidney to Ms. Christopher. You can’t just say things like that!”
Isabelle remained silent. Indeed, no one believed her now. “Maggie, I will uncover the truth. Don’t say anything, just protect my mother.”
The concern in her eyes puzzled Maggie. She said coldly, “Go to sleep. Leave as soon as it’s daylight, don’t bother me!”
Isabelle lay down bitterly.
Isabelle didn’t sleep all night. Before dawn, Isabelle got up unsteadily. She gently said to the sleeping Maggie, “I’m sorry, Maggie.”
Then she walked out of the backyard.
After five months of being together, she knew Warren’s routine. Warren had a regular lifestyle, usually waking up at five o’clock to
exercise.
Isabelle quietly walked into the kitchen and started preparing breakfast.
Because she was not skilled, she did it several times until she made two perfect breakfasts.
At seven o’clock, Amy got up.

Just as Amy reached the staircase, she saw that the person in the kitchen was none other than Isabelle!
Amy clenched her fingers. Isabelle actually stayed here trying to impress Warren?
Her gaze sank, and she turned around and walked towards the second- floor gym. Warren jogged out, and Amy handed him a towel, her voice gentle, “I’ve prepared the shower water for you.”
“You didn’t have to do those things,” Warren frowned instinctively.
Amy looked aggrieved.
He slowed down his tone again and grabbed her wrist. “Why is your wrist so cold? Did you not sleep well last night? Did the nurse not take good care of you?”
Her room had a nurse, so Warren naturally wouldn’t stay in the master bedroom.
Amy said obediently, “I didn’t quite like that bed, maybe it was the decoration style that I didn’t like.”
“Then let’s change.”
Amy looked at him and felt surprised. This way, Isabelle’s trace would be completely removed.
“Warren, I don’t need a nurse to accompany me in the future, I wasn’t that weak.”
“Please follow the doctor’s advice. I am going to take a shower, you go downstairs first.”
Amy watched as Warren, tall and straight, walked towards the bathroom. He took off his short–sleeved shirt, revealing his back and

narrow waist.
Her gaze trembled fiercely, her face blushing. He was an incredibly charming man!
Warren finished taking a shower and came out, only to find that Amy hadn’t left. She was standing in the changing room, holding his clothes in her hands, looking at him with a frown.
Amy looked aggrieved and whispered, “I just wanted to serve you. Warren, could you please fulfill my small wish?”
