Chapter 152 Lose The Project
In Hoolypool police station.
Warren sat on a chair in the interrogation hall. He was a member of the Levine family, and no one dared to detain him.
But Mr. Schweitzer held a high position of authority, and the police station dared not neglect his matters.
The transcript of last night was only done for two hours.
They had been waiting. Warren couldn’t leave the police station to go to the hospital, and the news from the hospital hadn’t been relayed promptly.
The night passed, and the morning sunlight streamed in from outside.
Warren looked towards the entrance of the police station again.
He was very disappointed.
Sheldon watched in fear and trepidation. Another person arrived at the police station, but he was a shareholder of Harmo Real Estate, not Isabelle.
Sheldon knew who Warren was looking forward to seeing and also knew why he was disappointed.
He thought, “I secretly made numerous calls to Ms. Spencer, why didn’t she answer? I reminded her last night to come to the police station with Mr. Levine.”
Isabelle nervously stepped onto the stairs and entered the police

station.
She shivered as the cold wind pierced through her body. To stay awake on the road, she opened the car window, letting the wind dry her damp clothes.
Isabelle was afraid that Warren would notice something abnormal. She was worried that she might be late, as she and David were trapped in the hotel for most of the night.
She ran in anxiously and suddenly saw the indifferent Warren in the
hall.
He sat on the chair, with a gloomy expression, not saying a word.
He held Amy in his arms, with a bandaged wound on his wrist.
Amy gently lowered her head and sought his opinion, while lightly patting his arm, as if comforting him.
Amy took out a handkerchief and wiped the sweat off his forehead.
Then she stood up and quickly spoke to the shareholders of Harmo Real Estate, as if she were Warren’s wife, organizing them to do things.
Warren took out a cigarette and was about to light it.
“Ms. Spencer,” Sheldon called out as he looked at Isabelle standing at the door.
At once, all the executives and shareholders of the company looked
over.
Warren’s indifferent gaze slowly fell upon Isabelle’s face.
He saw a disheveled and drenched woman standing there.

She paused her steps there, looking at him intently.
Sheldon quickly ran over and said, “Ms. Spencer, why did you just arrive? I called you last night and asked you to come to the police station right away. At that time, Mr. Levine was alone and he needed you…..”
Sheldon realized that he might have said something wrong and immediately shut up.
Warren’s gaze grew colder, he knew that Sheldon had informed Isabelle to come to the police station last night.
But she didn’t come until the next night.
He did not look at her again, and his indifferent expression disappointed Isabelle.
Isabelle felt very sad when she saw Amy taking care of Warren by his side.
At this moment, a group of people entered through another gate of the police station.
The one leading the way was Mr. Schweitzer’s son. He walked towards Warren.
Warren stood up, appearing tall and imposing.
Mr. Schweitzer’s son, who is in his fifties, is a bit shorter than Warren. He walked over with a changed expression on his face, looking somewhat uneasy. “Mr. Levine, my father is the most important person in our family. He fell ill during the conversation with you last night, so it was only natural for us to call the police. We hope you can understand our feelings.”
“Of course,” Warren understood this was a polite remark, “How is Mr.

Schweitzer doing now?”
“Last night, the doctor had already given up on treatment. Fortunately, my father passed the critical period and has successfully undergone surgery.”
Upon hearing these words, Warren furrowed his brow tightly and then relaxed.
Amy excitedly grabbed his hand and said, “Warren! You were not in trouble anymore!”
Isabelle looked at their clasped hands, feeling a bit sad yet happy for Warren. “All my efforts last night were worth it.”
The shareholders of Harmo Real Estate were preparing to breathe a sigh of relief.
Mr. Schweitzer’s son added, “My father has woken up and I am conveying the results of the land bidding on his behalf. My father is still upset about the mistakes in your bid, and although he was initially very interested in your five–star hotel project, he is now considering giving the land to another company.”
The shareholders of Harmo Real Estate turned pale.
Warren apologized without changing his expression, “I should take responsibility for Mr. Schweitzer’s critical condition, and I will bear all the consequences.”
I will not bid for this piece of land anymore, and Harmo Real Estate will not take advantage of Mr. Schweitzer. I will hire the best doctor to take care of Mr. Schweitzer’s future medical needs, hoping for his speedy recovery.
Mr. Schweitzer paused for a moment and looked back at Warren, feeling that this young man had a great presence.

He nodded with a smile, “Mr. Levine is broad–minded and courageous, truly deserving to be the top businessman in Donsborough. I heard that your company was built solely by your efforts, and this time the losses are estimated to be more than billions of dollars. I hope you can overcome this difficult situation.”
In just a few short sentences, he spoke about a matter of life and death for the company.
Warren calmly said, “Thank you.”
Mr. Schweitzer’s son took his people and left.
The shareholders of Harmo Real Estate were unable to remain calm. They feared Warren’s authority, but this project was a matter of life and death for Harmo.
A shareholder angrily pointed at Isabelle and said, “Mr. Levine, the bid was made by Ms. Spencer, she should take responsibility for her own mistakes. Take her to Mr. Schweitzer and explain the truth, we cannot lose this piece of land!”
“Yeah, it was all Ms. Spencer’s fault. She caused such a big mistake for you. She’s really irresponsible!”
“You trusted Ms. Spencer too much!”
Upon hearing these words, Isabelle felt both embarrassed and saddened as she thought, “I never intended to frame Warren.”
The bid proposal I made was both accurate and detailed.
But Uncle took advantage of me, and I couldn’t speak the truth.
Warren coldly looked at Isabelle without saying a word.
Amy angrily said, “Ms. Spencer, as the president of Luck Jewelry, you

shouldn’t make mistakes in such trivial matters like bidding
documents. That’s why Mr. Levine trusted you to handle the bidding documents.”
I didn’t want to doubt you, but the data you provided was incorrect and very unreasonable. Are you dissatisfied with Mr. Levine?
Amy’s words changed the expressions of the shareholders.
“Did Mr. Levine and Ms. Spencer intentionally manipulate the data?”
“Ms. Spencer, why did you make Mr. Levine lose the major project?” the shareholders angrily questioned.
Isabelle frowned and stared at Amy, feeling like she intentionally said those words, “Does Amy know my secret?”
The secret about Uncle and me seeking revenge…
Warren looked at Isabelle sharply, and Isabelle felt guilty, unable to meet his gaze.
Warren walked over silently and stood in front of the shareholders, protecting Isabelle.
He quietly asked Isabelle a question, “Where were you from last night until this morning?”
