Chapter 131 Harmo Real Estate
Isabelle nodded repeatedly. “Even without Amy, I would still be your capable assistant.”
“Efficient assistant…” Warren lowered his head, raising an eyebrow. For some reason, he suddenly had a different idea.
Maybe it was because she looked too obedient when she nestled in his arms. After a day of war without gunfire, he carried her into the bathroom, turned on the faucet, and hot water poured down. He pressed her shoulders and softly, somewhat dimly, coaxed, “Very well. Then help me out…”
When Isabelle came out of the bathroom, everyone was stunned.

Isabelle woke up the next day.
She didn’t feel his body on the other side of the bed. When she checked the time, she realized that she had woken up late.
She hurriedly washed up and went downstairs.
He sat at the dining table in a well–tailored suit, not drinking coffee. Maggie had already prepared his briefcase for him.

He seemed to be waiting for Isabelle.
Warren looked up and saw Isabelle, who was sleeping groggily. She was wearing a soft sweater dress, with a slight bulge in her abdomen.
His thin lips slightly curved as he sternly called out to Sheldon outside the door.
Sheldon walked in and smiled as he handed Isabelle two things. “Ms. Spencer, both of these things were sent to you by Mr. Levine.”
Isabelle took a look and realized it was the nameplate of the deputy general manager of Harmo Real Estate.
There was also a black card.
“Ms. Spencer, Mr. Levine upgraded the gold–plated black card he gave you last time. This black card allows access to all of Mr. Levine’s assets. In other words, you can swipe the card until he goes bankrupt,” Sheldon smirked.
Isabelle was shocked.
She pointed at the nameplate of the deputy general manager of Harmo Real Estate, her heart racing. “This is?”
“Didn’t you say last night that you wanted to become my capable assistant? Well, then I’ll give you a chance,” Warren said, striding towards her with his long legs. His silver mask accentuated his handsome facial features. He spoke in a low, arrogant tone.
Isabelle was surprised, looking into his deep eyes, feeling like he had misunderstood her.

Warren’s Adam’s apple slid, approaching her earlobe, “Yes, I saw your ability last night.”

Warren extended his arm and pinched her earlobe, placing his hand on her shoulder and slightly tightening it. He regained a serious expression and spoke in a low tone, “I let you into the company as a gesture of sincerity. Weren’t you complaining that I didn’t care enough about you?”
He indulged a woman, and he did it in such a generous and high- profile manner.
Isabelle felt sweet, but she still shook her head. “I have no interest in your company. And, if you expose me like this, your family…”
Warren’s deep eyes flickered with coldness. This was exactly what he
meant.
He had already risked everything for her, so why not let her make a high–profile appearance? The more dangerous, the safer.
If he gave her a position, then Lamont’s people might have been wary and wouldn’t have easily harmed her.
Warren’s profound thoughts may not be understood by Isabelle. He clenched her chin and said, “Think about it. If you really want to help me, then come. Show me your business skills while you’re at it.”

Luck Jewelry’s company is located on the east side of downtown. Sheldon parked the car and Isabelle got out. She turned to say goodbye to Warren, who still said, “Think it over. I’ll be at Harmo Real Estate this morning and can introduce you for the job.”
He slightly curved his lips, with a hint of ambiguity.
Warren was her husband. He introduced his wife to join his company…
Isabelle blushed and furrowed her brows. “I’m leaving first.”
As Isabelle stepped into Luck Jewelry, her phone rang.
Isabelle looked down and saw an unfamiliar number. She answered the phone and heard Amy’s voice. Amy said, “Isabelle, thanks to you, I am going to the branch office today. Let’s meet up. I have a few things I want to tell you.”
Isabelle declined, “No need.”
“It’s about Warren. Don’t you want to know?” Amy immediately sneered.
Isabelle frowned, paused for a moment, and then agreed.
In the coffee shop, Amy sat in the corner with warm lights. Her eyes, watching Isabelle approach, were cold and filled with hatred, like hidden blades.
Isabelle had never seen that kind of look in Amy’s eyes before, as if she wanted to devour her alive. Amy was no longer pretending.

Amy hated Isabelle’s triumphant posture and said coldly, “I didn’t expect you to be so shameless. You’re still clinging to Warren despite the bad reputation. You just want to get back at me, don’t you?”
“Yeah,” Isabelle didn’t mince her words, her gaze cold. “It was you who instigated Mr. Herman to come and tell me about your engagement. Mr. Herman may not have known he was being used by you, and maybe I didn’t know either, but I knew. You were certain that I wouldn’t be able to handle it and would back out. Even if I did back out, Ms. Watson, you wouldn’t let me have a peaceful ending. In that case, why shouldn’t I just take this man for myself?”
Isabelle wanted to protect herself, her baby, and Alice.
Amy clenched her fists secretly and suddenly sneered, “You won’t be victorious for long, so don’t get too proud. Isabelle, let me tell you, Warren has a woman he likes.”
Isabelle was taken aback and coldly disbelieved.
Amy leaned over and smiled knowingly, “She was his lifesaver. He had never forgotten her.”
“He only had a physical need and a desire for novelty towards you.”
“Moreover, you and he won’t last long at all…” Amy thought of Bailey’s words, a thought–provoking smirk on her face.
Amy’s smile and the last sentence made Isabelle furrow her brows.
Isabelle thought, “What does Amy mean? She seems to know something.”
